If your dog has some behavior problems, they may not be due to a lack of training.
Some experts feel that 20 percent of all behavior problems are caused by health-related problems. Housetraining accidents and medical problems like thyroid imbalance can causehyperactivity. Poor nutrition can also be a factor. Chewing on garden plants or wood could indicate that your puppy is not getting enough nutrients, and food allergies are often the cause of behavior problems. Befor you stat training your dog, make sure that he has been to the veterinarians and has received a clean bill of health. Once health problems have been ruled out, you can start correcting any unwanted behavior.

Setting Up a Puppy Care Schedule
Once you have all the basic equipment ready for your puppy, you should map out a tentative schedule with members of your family. Figure out who can be with him and at what times, because he will need constant suppervision for the first few days.
The worst thing you can do is bring home a new puppy and leave him alone. He will be unsure of his environment, scared, and lonely, and his first impressions will stay with him for a long time. You should think about where the puppy will be kept, where he will eat, where he will sleep, and where he will be taken to eliminate. It is also a good time to take a look around at your existing environment and see if your home is safe enough for your puppy to move into.

Coconut oil
comes in two types: natural and refined.
You should choose the virgin or extra virgin coconut oil. Unlike the olive oil that you use for cooking, there is no demonstrable difference between virgin and extra-virgin coconut oil. You can purchase either type for use on your dog.
The other option is known as "RBD" which means refined, bleached, and deodorized.
These types of oils are made from dried coconuts instead of fresh, mature coconut meat.
