The insect gods have smiled down on us! We were able to acquire super worms as well as wax worms(bee moths), now available for purchase! Get them now before we run out!

!!!!ATTENTION!!!!

Good Afternoon!

We just wanted to extend a courtesy to all of our reptile owners and let them know that there is currently a meal worm shortage.

We have been out of mealworms and giant meal worms for just over a week and currently do not have a re stock date. Due to extreme heat, amongst other circumstances, bait suppliers are currently not shipping them for fear that they arrive dead.

We have been told that shipping will continue around late August, early September, weather permitting.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and will post an update as soon as they’re available again . Until then, we still carry live crickets as well as night crawlers, green night crawlers, and jumbo panfish worms ( red worms).

If you happened to find company’s online shipping them still: be advised that they are not liable if they show up dead or partially dead. Most of the time they have an “all sales are final” policy and you won’t be able to receive a refund!

Be extra careful when ordering live feed online!

All of us here at 7 Seas Pet Care Center would like to send our most sincere condolences to the Montejano family on the recent passing of their dog ChumLee.

Just before he left us, Chum set a record for most groomed dog at our shop with 101 appointments! Every month, we all looked forward to Chum waddling in for his spa day, walking at his own pace. The world slowed down a bit when he was here, and for the last 11 years we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

The hardest part of being a groomer is losing the animals that you’ve grown close to over the years. His groomer Rose Cerda will tell you first that Chum wasn’t just a dog. He was a friend. He was family

We’re getting very close to July 4th which is the busiest time for our kennel! During the rest of the year we almost ALWAYS have room available for dog boarding. But when Independence Day weekend rolls around, our kennel fills up SO QUICK!

So make sure you stop by or give us a call to make a reservation! First come first serve!

All that is needed is up to date shot records including bordetella, distemper, and rabies.

Due to extreme heat, our bait order has been delayed and we currently only have jumbo panfish worms (red worms/red wigglers) in stock. We're hopeful that we will be restocked with night crawlers and bee moths by this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you've never fished with jumbo panfish worms, here's a bit of info:

•They're thinner and brighter in color than night crawlers. (Sold in 25 counts for $3.99)

•Very energetic and constantly moving underwater.

•Great for catching crappie, bluegill, perch, trout, and more!

•Hold very well in low and high temps. So no worrying about dieing bait!

Christmas at 7 Seas Pet Care Center

It's a reoccurring joke here at the pet store that we have a "Charlie Brown Christmas tree". It's old, crooked, and bald in many spots. But we still put it up every year because it reminds us of Christmases past. Customers, family, friends, and pets alike have come and gone over the years, but, just like our wobbly old tree, the holiday season brings back memories of great times with all of them. While out rummaging through a second hand store a few months ago, Steven, one of our store clerks found a box of old hand painted Peanuts ornaments that were perfect for our tree. They're now make an amazing addition to our on-going joke and a tree that may not look like much to some, but is everything to us.
