If you are contacted by anybody claiming that they are us, they are not. We strictly contact people from our potential owner questionnaire or we ask you to privately call us. We have scammers that will jump on our live videos and we cannot stop that. The only way I can stop that is to not do the videos at all. It's the only way that I can provide content and information without compromising our photos because live video they cannot do that to. But if they contact you because you comment on the video and you decide to send money to some as**at somewhere, that's not me because she's selling you some deal. That's your problem, not mine. We don'tt do deals. We are not a cheap breeder nor are we a backyard breeder. The kittens in our business are professional animals. that are in competition are pedigreed and are invested in. We are not an adoption agency!

So if you are looking for the quality Maine C**n and not the backyard breeder with the deal for you then reach out to us.

But if you decide to do a deal with some fake person that is not us then that is on you and you're going to continue to lose a lot of money and possibly never even get a cat.....or the one that you do get will be sick!!!

No quality breeder will be selling you a kitten before the age of 16 weeks fully vetted. So even if you pick one up, you're on the hook for all of the vetting and bringing home a kitten without a fully developed immune system, especially a large breed like this is not recommended.

We will NOT be attending the CFA Lincoln State cat show!

We were told that "We are Not the kind of people they want in their CFA club".....

Not sure why.... We do everything by the books and even extra health testing, offer HCM clinics to the association nationwide (which they should be all in on the whole purpose of these associations is to help guarantee the health of the animals that we are breeding.... I am still waiting for an answer on the proposal they were given)..... Champion our cats bring out the kittens like everything ......etc.

That means no (political) changes because they don't add new members.

I did notice this year. They finally updated the site to add information about starting new clubs.... So what happens to the old clubs that don't invite new members in? Do they just die off or is it completely controlled by the addition of only people that they want?

Asking for a friend..

Room 8 was a neighborhood cat who wandered into a classroom in 1952 at Elysian Heights Elementary School in Echo Park, California. He lived in the school during the school year and then disappeared for the summer, returning when classes started again. This pattern continued without interruption until the mid-1960s.
News cameras would arrive at the school at the beginning of the year waiting for the cat's return; he became famous and would receive up to 100 letters a day addressed to him at the school. Eventually, he was featured in a documentary called Big Cat, Little Cat and a children's book, A Cat Called Room 8. Look magazine ran a three-page Room 8 feature by photographer Richard Hewett in November 1962, titled "Room 8: The School Cat". Leo Kottke wrote an instrumental called "Room 8" that was included in his 1971 album, Mudlark.
As he got older, Room 8 was injured in a cat fight and suffered from feline pneumonia, so a family near the school volunteered to take him in. The school's janitor would find him at the end of the school day and carry him across the street.
His obituary in the Los Angeles Times rivaled that of major political figures, running three columns with a photograph. The cat was so famous that his obituary ran in papers as far away as Hartford, Connecticut. The students raised the funds for his gravestone. He is buried at the Los Angeles Pet Memorial Park in Calabasas, California."
