This Tuesday, with all the new follows, I’d like share the origins behind Trims by Em!
I am often asked what prompted me to start Trims by Em in the first place? What really urged me to take these routine measures like nail trims, ear cleaning etc. to my clients homes? It’s all in the paws of the girl pictured below! My Koda, who started it all. Koda, a southern state rescue dog, that came into my life in 2019. I was actively working in the veterinary field at the time and knew all the ins and outs of nail trims and other routine maintenance measures. She humbled me when my standard approach did not align with her. So I dove back to the roots and encompassed a beautiful thing called desensitization and made a promise to never take her to the clinic for nail trims ever again. Today, she stands tall and enthusiastically gives up her paws for her nail trims! So allow your veterinary clinic to focus their time on what they do best saving paws, and I’ll trim them! The home is a much better setting for all those routine measures anyways! Don’t you think? Koda would certainly agree!
