Veterinary Defence Association USA

The VDA is a dynamic and innovative non-commercial association of 'veterinarians for veterinarians', managed by veterinarians – not insurance brokers. The VDA was established in the USA in 2008. The VDA is the only veterinary defence organization in the US and no other organization knows more about professional protection than the VDA.

The VDA provides eight defence programs. The insurance program provides US members with a full spectrum of professional, practice, business and personal insurance cover, underwritten by Lloyd’s Underwriters and reputable US insurers. Lloyd's is the largest and most highly respected insurance market in the world. The VDA provides superior license defence in state veterinary medical board disciplinary proceedings and in civil malpractice litigation cases.
