🌈 In Loving Memory of Frankie 🐾
September 1, 2025 As many of you noticed, I took a little break from social media and work — and the reason is something that’s been really hard for me to say out loud. On September 1st, I said goodbye to my best friend and childhood dog, Frankie.
It took me some time to post about it because, to be honest, I didn’t know how. Frankie wasn’t the dog I thought I wanted. Growing up, I always dreamed of having a big dog — the kind you could barely pick up. My parents surprised me with Frankie for my 7th birthday And somehow, this tiny little dog ended up filling the biggest space in my heart.
Frankie truly was the start of who I am today. For 15 and a half beautiful years, he was by my side through everything — from childhood to becoming who I am now, and from dreaming about animals to building a business around them. Everyone who came over always asked about him; he had a presence that people remembered instantly.
To my sweet boy — thank you.
Thank you for training every dog I’ve ever boarded.
Thank you for accepting my little zoo of pets with love, patience, and quiet leadership.
Thank you for being patient with me while I practiced grooming on you — even when the cuts were uneven, the bows were crooked, and you clearly didn’t sign up to be my first client.
You taught me more about responsibility, empathy, loyalty, and unconditional love than any class or textbook ever could. Because of you, I found my purpose — and because of you, countless other animals have been loved, trained, and cared for with a heart you helped shape.
Now when people ask if I have a dog of my own, I never know what to say — other than, “I did.”
And I will forever be grateful that you were the one.
💔🐾 Rest easy, Frankie.
You’ll forever be my first best friend, my shadow, and my greatest teacher.
🤍 Until we meet again.
