Hello Quincy AKA Quinn

Quinn (kudos to Bob Dylan) is one of our newest orphans and he has a song and story to tell you. This two to three year old male hails from Detroit Michigan where he was treated for several things including an embedded collar and various wounds on his starved body. His neck is healed as are his wounds and they have not altered his love of people thankfully and his trust in humans. He is putting on some much needed weight and will soon be ready for his forever home. If you would like to meet our Mighty Quinn, he would love to meet you.

Today a life was saved. Welcome BODE
He’s an old man found as a stray, his “owners” opened the door and kicked him out, in the city of Inkster MI. He hitched the first ride he could find to the police station where a very nice officer Pasley took such good care of him. Thank you officer Pasley.
He’s got a bad eye infection going on, bad skin and very skinny
But all that said it didn’t stop Kurt from saying…. I’ll take him. Bless this man.

Kurt is a previous adopter who actually, unbeknownst to us until it happened, adopted his last Akita Yogi this same day last year. Unfortunately, Yogi crossed the rainbow bridge last month.
This was a match made in heaven. We are sure Yogi had something to do with it

MAPLE

This beautiful girl is feeling down at the kennels. She needs her forever home.

She is a beautiful girl about 2 1/2 years old.
She was found in metro Detroit wondering with a younger pup that to our guessing was her puppy.
She is a sweet girl that takes a second to warm up to you but once she does she is your bestie. Walks easy on a leash.

She is Spayed, UTD on vaccinations, chipped and on prevention

She keeps her kennel clean so she appears to be hours broken.

Akita experience is required

Why blue is still waiting for a home ill never understand 😞 Blue has spent almost his entire first year of life in boarding, due to no fault of his own. He loves people, he loves kids, hes kind to cats and livestock, kind to dogs in passing & could possibly live with a submissive female after proper intros. Knows basic commands, does amazing in public. All he wants is someone to love him, he would make an awesome office dog or travel companion.

This boy is PERFECT

Jasper is 7 years old, potty trained. Doesn’t chew, very friendly and social. Can live with a friendly female, respectful of cats in passing. Loves kids. Not a barker, literally does nothing wrong ever!
