March 2025 marks the beginning of our third annual National Home Watch Month. This month, we will strive to educate the public, homeowner’s insurance companies, and state and local governments about this very important and necessary service for unoccupied homes throughout the US and Canada. The National Home Watch Association is all about growing the footprint of legitimate Home Watch companies by providing risk mitigation to thousands of second homeowners and the billions of dollars of unchecked second homes they represent.

I am so pleased to announce that HawkEye Home Watch of Fountain Hills, Arizona, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the 11th year.

In 2001, owner Michael Padgett moved from Chicago, Illinois, to Fountain Hills. When he realized many part-time residents could benefit from a Home Watch service, Michael launched HawkEye Home Watch in 2011. Working a full-time job while building HawkEye was difficult, and there were some bumps along the way, like the loss of his partner and friend. But Michael persevered, never losing his vision. He now commits 100% of his time to growing HawkEye.

Michael brings a unique perspective to his company based on his experience and expertise in home renovations, general repairs, and condominium property management. And having been involved in retail customer service for many years, he knows that trust, honesty, integrity, and reliability are key factors in keeping clients happy.

The HawkEye Home Watch team is committed to keeping their clients’ homes well cared for during their absence. Their goal is to make their clients’ time away from home as worry-free as possible.
