ARF! Barking Fresh! is nutritious, grain free, fresh baked love for your pup, made from super foods Now we make cakes and treats.

Our goal from the start: Make treats from nutritious, organic & grain-free ingredients any pet owner would be happy to share with their dogs' of any age or health. With advice from vets and from pet nutritionists we took to our kitchen and started baking. We spent months testing and finessing until everything was A.R.F! Our Product: Festive Cakes
Our Thought: Why make blah from wonderful food when

we could celebrate it and you could have fun sharing it with your furry, faithful, best friend. We're always learning more about great nutritious ingredients and exploring ways you and your dog can enjoy them together. We believe zero-grain should mean canine fun!

My first Bark mitzvah cake! I don’t know how it took this long. In an interesting twist this Autumn is also 13 years since I made my first Barkday cake for a customer.

I wanted to be true to the original with a stamped cookie look but visually it needed the white piping. So, I wrote as if I it was the real vanilla cream filling.

My Mom and Dad’s 56th wedding anniversary! She gave me the “Look”! I interrupted dessert! 🤣 She lost 40 lbs between 2020 and 21. Bad Med combo and more. Meds changed and she has gained 20 lbs since July. Now just hoping her kidney function continues to improve as she gets her strength back.

Our Story

From the start, the A.R.F! Barking Fresh! mission: Make great dog treats from nutritious & grain-free ingredients, a dog goodie, any pet owner would be happy to share with their dogs of any age or health.

The Thought: Why make another wheat and sugar (what are honey, maple syrup and molasses?) laced dog treat? Take out the grain, the gluten and the sugar...

The Journey: Taking into consideration the traditional advice from vets and advanced information from pet nutritionists ABF! decided to go further and leave out the meat (that’s your department) and put in high value, nutrient & antioxidant dense super foods, before taking to the kitchen. Months of testing and finessing ensued until everything was A.R.F! Barking Fresh!

The Product: Festive super food based cakes & treats for dogs, that look tasty to us and are even tastier, than they look, to our pups.
