Lorierankerartist Hello !! At the request of some lovely friends, I've made a Fb page for some paintings I've finished and some in progress

Lorie Guevara Ranker is experimentalist painter who focuses on brilliant colors, mixed canvas mediums and experimental coloring, texturing & layering techniques. She is self-taught and very much enjoys trying new artistic styles and techniques that create unique beauty. The themes of her pieces currently focus around capturing scenes of others making art (such as live music), introspective self-po

rtraits, and abstract cityscapes. Outside of painting, Lorie runs a creative hostel and event space that focuses on fostering events that bring the Chicago artistic community together to share ideas and create art together. She also is active in animal rescue and is a mother of two brilliant boys.
