Group soup has been made and delivered to the kitties! They were so happy. We had enough little dishes donated for everyone to have their own plate (which I put panacur on before the food) but everyone just kept eating off the Same plates 🤦🏻‍♀️

Milly is still with us. She’s been with us for a year and a half! She’s the sweetest lady! She loves attention and will follow you around for it! She’ll biggg stretch on you so that you’ll give her some pets. She does well with other cats, unsure of dogs. She would really like to find a home soon! Milly loves to spend her days lounging on the comfy blankets and the cat tree! She loves scratcher posts/pads as well.

BK the man is ready for adoption!
This super sweet guy is looking for the perfect family to call his own! BK does amazing with dogs! He will be headed to the shack this week for cat testing. He thinks he’s a parrot and LOVES to be on your shoulder and really just anywhere that includes him being loved on. He is THE sweetest cat. He is FIV+ but that’s not really a big deal!
His left eye has a cataract from having an ulcer that healed when he first got here. This boy is hefty coming in an almost 10lbs! He loves to play explore! He’s very confident! He is seriously such an amazing cat, anyone would be lucky to have him!
Someone please give this amazing boy a home!

Valuable information!

❄️ PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TOWELS & BLANKETS OUTSIDE AS THE TEMPERATURE DROPS!

Fabrics will pull the moisture from the air, dampening them and bringing a chill, or worse, to your pets.

Everyone’s situation is different, so here are some considerstions:

🐾 Consider temporary indoor housing, especially during night hours when temperatures are the lowest.

🐾 Use straw (if available) as a layered matting replacing blankets

🐾 Feed extra - extra calories will give them the energy to combat the temps

🐾 Smaller spaces trap warmth. Be mindful of critters curled up in tight spaces looking for reprieve. ❄️

* To allow greater flexibility in scheduling, we will not be transporting cats for you, you are responsible for obtaining approved traps and for transportation on dates that work best for you.
* The $10 per cat non-refundable deposit is waived when you apply by 2/14.
* Once your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to schedule.
* All surgeries will be performed at Operation Catnip in Gainesville.

Eartips are required for all cats and kittens - no exceptions!

Iris is a gorgeous long haired girl who is seeking a forever family to call her own! She’s about 3 years old and an absolute sweetheart! She loves to be loved on and spending time with her people!
Iris has been with us for over a year with no adoption interest unfortunately. She is so deserving of a loving home! She loves to give kisses and will lick you whenever she gets the chance!
She does great with other cats and does okay with dogs. She hasn’t been around them in over a year though, so a slow introduction is key.

Little miss Beef Stroganoff is available for adoption!
She is about 4.5 months old and an absolute sweetheart! She does well with cats and dogs!
Must go to a home with other animals or she’ll be lonely. Preferably one with another kitten.
All she wants in life is attention and to be with you.
She loves wet food and that’s an easy way to win her over. She’s so soft and has the most gorgeous long hair!

Everyone’s surgeries went well!
BK is FIV+ but his eye did heal with the repair gel! Yay! He’s available for adoption now and an absolute ham. He’s going to make someone very happy!
Saltine got his neck checked out again, they removed the scab and the skin looks great! They gave us SSD cream to apply a few times per day and said if he’s not getting better to bring him back for another convenia injection in a week or so.
Opossum is sounding a big snuffly they said so they started him on doxy to be safe but otherwise he’s healthy. He’s not showing any other signs of URI.
Beef stroganoff is felv/fiv negative and will be available for adoption this weeek! This sweet girl is going to get snatched up so fast, she’s stunning and so so sweet!
