It’s looking like it’ll be a pretty weekend for the cattle drive the 26th!
IMPORTANT: we talked with the Forrest service and they said you would be allowed to camp at the bottom of scales road where we will be meeting. So this is now an option. We do ask that you clean up after yourself and don’t leave a big mess. We are grateful they are allowing campers there.

There are some rough spots in the road so we advise that you drive slow on the way to the bottom of scales road. They’ve done a fabulous job getting the roads back open but there’s a few spots you could potentially bust a tire if you hit it too fast. Just be cautious!

We will leave the foot of the mountain at 9am sharp. Any help is greatly appreciated. We will feed everyone at the the end of the cattle drive at the bottom of the mountain.

IMPORTANT: NO CAMPING AT HORSE CAMP NIGHT BEFORE CATTLE DRIVE. You’re welcome to come camp at our arena the night before and drive over with us that morning. We’re about 30 minutes away from scales road.
WE WILL FEED EVERYONE AT BOTTOM OF MOUNTAIN.

Cattle drive will be on October 26th. Will meet at bottom of scales road at 9am sharp. Please dress for all weather. If your horse has never seen cattle this may not be for you.
Highly recommend having horses that are shod due to rocky terrain.
Must be familiar with area to know how to get there due to some of the roads being in rough shape. May not be able to follow GPS to meet spot.
Will be leaving R&R Arena at 8am sharp with or without you. Be early, not late. We won’t wait on ya.

Hey guys!
Our barrel race this Saturday is no longer NBHA sanctioned.
We understand some may not make it due to the damages from this past weekend. We unfortunately don’t have another weekend to reschedule so we will have to continue with plans.
We do suggest to come down Ramblewood Road from Whitetop Road if you plan on attending.

I will have points out this afternoon. I apologize for the delay, I’ve gotten behind in the last few weeks do to my college schedule.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this weekend!
We have decided to CANCEL the barrel race that was scheduled for Friday, September 6. We will be chopping corn and won’t have a tractor available to drag the arena. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We will see you guys again on September 28th for TEAM ROPING and October 5th BARREL RACE for our FINALS
