Daisy is just the sweetest thing we have ever met! She has started her first day of daycare and training today and is figuring things out perfectly! She’s made some great buddies and is listening to commands so well! 🐾💜

Poncho started his reactivity training today and is doing much better than expected! This big guy is weighing in at a whopping 6lbs with the attitude of a grizzly bear, but we are very determined to tame this wild beast. 🩵😜

At Happy Tails, we are committed to keeping things running as smoothly and safely as possible. These policy updates are designed to help us better manage our schedule and provide exceptional service to every client. We understand that changes can be an adjustment, and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition into our new schedule and policies for the new year. We truly appreciate you being part of the Happy Tails family! 💜🐾🩵

Updated Policies

Cancellations:
Services canceled without at least 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost. This must be paid before booking any future appointments.

No-Call/No-Shows:
For no-call/no-show appointments, 100% of the scheduled service cost will be invoiced and must be paid before booking any future services. After three no-call/no-shows, you will be required to prepay for all appointments.

Late Pick-Up:
Dogs must be picked up within one hour of completion notification for grooming services. A daycare fee will be charged for pickups exceeding this time frame. If your dog is picked up after the scheduled pickup time, a $10 late fee will apply. Additional daycare fees may also be incurred based on how late the pickup is.

Early Drop-Off:
While we appreciate punctuality, early drop-offs can disrupt our schedule. A $5 fee will apply for daycare drop-offs between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Grooming clients arriving more than 15 minutes early will be subject to an additional daycare fee.

Wellness Check:
While we are not licensed to provide medical advice, each dog will undergo a basic wellness check upon arrival to ensure they are healthy enough for their scheduled service. Dogs showing symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, worms, coughing, or other potential signs of contagious illness will not be admitted and may only return once symptoms have subsided or after receiving necessary veterinary care.

Stress from Services:
We strive to make every experience as peaceful as possible. However, some dogs may still feel stress during their appointments. Stress can sometimes weaken the immune system, increasing susceptibility to illness. While we require vaccination records and maintain rigorous cleaning standards, the possibility of illness still exists. Happy Tails is not liable for veterinary costs in these rare instances.

Illness During Services:
If we notice symptoms of illness during your dog’s stay, you will be contacted to pick them up immediately. If urgent medical attention is required and we cannot reach you, we will contact your dog’s veterinarian. If your regular vet is unavailable, we will seek care at our trusted veterinary partner, with costs covered by the owner.

Authorized Pick-Up/Drop-Off:
Only the listed owner in our system is authorized to pick up a dog unless we are informed in advance of a new pick-up person. We cannot release a dog without prior verification from the owner.

Sign-In:
Please sign in your dog at drop-off and provide an estimated pick-up time. This helps us schedule accurately and charge appropriately for services.

Late Invoice Fees:
Invoices are due on the same day they are sent. A 10% late fee will be applied to unpaid invoices.

Leashes:
For safety, all dogs must be on a leash when entering Happy Tails. Not all dogs are friendly to others, so this precaution helps us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Fleas/Ticks:
If fleas or ticks are found on your dog, a $20 fee will be added to their service for treatment. Severe infestations may result in additional charges.

Aggressive Behavior:
If a dog displays unsafe behavior toward other dogs or staff, the owner will be contacted to pick up the dog. Dogs with recurring aggressive behavior may no longer be eligible for services.

It’s not everyday that we have a pup excited for their bath time, but when we do, it must be documented! How cute is Darth’s big goofy grin?! He’s such a sweet guy and was an angel for his bath and deshed today! 🩵🐾
