Justin & Shelby's Groom N' Go is a full service Mobile Pet Grooming salon for all breeds of cats and dogs. Full services include nail trimming/grinding, ear plucking/cleaning, gland expression, teeth brushing, massaging bathing system, hand drying, sanitary clipping, styled hair cut, finishing leave in conditioning spray and bow/bandanna. We carry a wide variety of shampoos and conditioners for all skin and coat types. All of our products are natural, environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

In a salon your pet is in an assembly line and makes contact with 3-4 different people creating anxiety and confusion. When pets are taken to grooming salons they have a receptionist check them in, a bather give them a bath and prep them for the groomer and finally the groomer grooms them. Your fur-baby like all living things are creatures of habit. This means they learn from their experiences and repetitive processes. Our mobile service allows your fur-baby to understand who Shelby and I are. It also helps them to understand that grooming can be both fun and rewarding. We are able to become their friend rather than their groomer.

Our Background
We have been in the pet care industry for the past 10 years. We started out as kennel attendants in our early teens. At this position we cared for pets during their stays. We would pick up their messes, feed them, take them out, wash their bedding, distribute treats, distribute medication, disinfect their kennels etc. We wanted to further ourselves in the business and learn more about the other positions. We have always been determined and moving forward type of people. Expanding our knowledge is something we find to be crucial in all aspects of life. We moved up to the front lines of the company as receptionists. Here we learned how to care for the other piece to our two part clientele base. The owner. We would take owners on tours, learned how to let them know their pet was in great hands, relayed important instructions/information, checked pets in and out, answered calls, closed registers etc. From here we learned how to bathe and prep pets. This was a total different way of caring for pets and was much more physical. Bathing taught us patience and gave us the knowledge to know that not every pet likes to be groomed. There is a point where sometimes you just have to walk away. We then took a one year apprenticeship and finally learned how to groom. However, we did not stop there. We both became supervisors of the team and eventually Justin became the Operation Manager of the entire establishment. We learned how to manage a team and run a business. We stayed with this company for eight years and decided it was time to leave and start our own venture. We both had the physical experiences of managing a business and Justin graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a BS Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Management & Human Resources and Entrepreneurship.
We officially established Justin & Shelby’s Groom N’ Go November 16, 2015. We started this business as “In Home Groomers.” We purchased tables, a portable tub, a hot water heater, dryers and brought all of our equipment into people’s homes. We would load everything up into Justin’s 2003 Ford Focus hatchback. For a whole year we would set our equipment up in front yards, backyards or garages to groom your fur-babies. With hard work and determination we purchased our 2017 Chevy Silverado in December 2016. This was a turning point for us because loading all of that equipment into that little car was starting to drive us mad. This helped us to further push our dream of one day owning our first mobile grooming unit. After another year of working in the rain, heat, cold and wind we purchased our first custom built mobile grooming unit November 2017. We reached our first goal and will continue to pursue our ultimate dream. Justin & Shelby’s Groom N’ Go will not end with just us. We look forward to having four to five mobile grooming units with employees to help service our communities and groom your fur-babies.
