Chevy 3rd ride

It is the third ride on the filly from last weekend's c**t starting contest. It shows how I like to incorporate a saddle horse into my program while working with young horses. Everyone needs a good "mentor".

Sanjo Bridleless

Something I strongly believe about horse training is the importance of listening. Training should always be a two-way conversation with your horse, never a lecture from just one side. And when you listen, you will be quite surprised at some of the things your horse might tell you!

And if you get the conversation right, the entire partnership changes and things really start to take off. Sanjo and I (below) have learned a lot from each other and I have enjoyed everyone conversation we have had!
