Now that it’s getting warmer (hopefully🤞🏼) it’s time to get out and about to start up training your furry friend!🐶🥰

Let’s talk a bit about training in a new place with your dog!

Training your dog in a new place with new distractions can be challenging, but also rewarding!!🏆

Start by practicing basic commands in a quiet area, then gradually introduce more distractions. Use high value treats and plenty of patience.🐾

When training your dog, it’s also important to reward them for looking at you. This helps build a strong connection and reinforces good behavior. Use treats or praise to make looking at you a positive experience for your pup. Consistency and patience are key, so keep practicing and rewarding their attention!

✨DAY TRAINING SPOTLIGHT✨

As a dog owner, it can often be a challenge to balance work and other daily responsibilities while also ensuring your furry friend gets the attention and training they need. This is where Day Trainings with Hi-Line Canine comes in – a unique service that provides a full day of fun, socialization, and training for your dog.🤩

The concept is simple – I pick up your dog in the morning and keep them all day, taking them on exciting adventures and teaching them valuable skills. At the end of the day, I drop them off after their fun filled day of learning and play. 🐾

These Day Trainings are incorporated into my Puppy Preschool program, ensuring that your pup receives vital foundational training while also having fun. One of my current students, Watson, is a prime example of the progress that can be made through Day Trainings. Watson, a playful and energetic puppy, is learning crucial skills such as crate training, potty training, no jumping, and leash skills. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, he is making remarkable progress and is well on his way to becoming a well-mannered and well-behaved dog.🐶🐶
