In the United States, several patriotic holidays honor the nation's military history, flag, and the sacrifices of its service members. Each of these days has a unique significance and manner of observance:
𝟭. 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆:
Observed on the last Monday of May, Memorial Day honors the 𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐.𝙎. 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮. Originally known as Decoration Day, it began after the Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the conflict. Over time, it has evolved to honor all Americans who have died in military service. Traditionally, it is marked by ceremonies at cemeteries and memorials, and by the decoration of graves with flowers and flags. It's also considered the unofficial start of summer, with many people holding family gatherings and participating in parades.
𝟮. 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆:
Veterans Day is observed on November 11th each year to honor all U.S. military veterans, past and present. Unlike Memorial Day, which specifically honors those who died while in military service, Veterans Day 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙐.𝙎. 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙫𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨. 𝙄𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮, which are celebrated in other countries that mark the anniversary of the end of World War I; major hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. The day is commonly observed with parades, church services, and in many places, the American flag is hung at half-mast.
𝟯. 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆
Celebrated on the 3rd Saturday in May, Armed Forces Day honors the 𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐.𝙎. 𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨. This day is part of National Military Appreciation Month and is marked by parades, military displays, and educational events about the military.
𝟰. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 (aka The Fourth of July): 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, adopted on July 4, 1776, marking the 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙨' 𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣. It's a national holiday celebrated with fireworks, parades, concerts, and casual family gatherings.
𝟱. 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆:
Flag Day, observed on June 14th, commemorates 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. The day is dedicated to celebrating and showing respect for the American flag and its designers and makers. It's a time to remember the history of the flag and to educate the public about the proper etiquette related to the flag. Flag Day is not a federal holiday, but it is marked by parades and ceremonies celebrating the American flag.

Good advise from a friend of mine…

Standard poodles are a wonderful addition to a family! They do well with structure and routine. They love jobs, being independent and keeping their mind busy. Standard poodles are extremely smart, and can out smart their owners easily. Training your standard poodle early on 6-12 weeks is very important. They age fast. Some may ask what does this even mean “age fast”….. Standard poodles become adults quickly, at this age they are stuck into their routine. This is why training is very crucial with standard poodles! You want them to be ready for adulthood. They are very hard to train after they reach one year of age. Standard poodles are the best breed around! They are hypoallergenic, with zero shedding! Standard poodles make excellent therapy and service dogs. They love exercise. So fenced in yards are great, for the poodle! Or evening walks. They thrive in great loving homes where they are part of the family!

I will be changing the name of my poodle program, I have decided I will never to breed doodles so I should remove that and going forward I will be focusing on the Silvers, Merles, Whites and Parti poodles. Any thoughts on the name or...?

Switch Up Your Walking Routine If you really want to make sure you have your dog’s undivided attention, now and again you should switch up your routine. An easy way to do this is by changing the route you typically take when you walk your dog. You can start off by going in a different direction or making a left when you normally take a right. You can also try walking somewhere completely new to challenge your dog even more. Before exposing your dog to a new walking environment, make sure that area is safe for both of you. Exposing your dog to new sights, smells, and sounds will throw them for a loop, so you want to make sure that they’re paying attention to you and following your lead.
