I got the message “We finally made it” and my heart felt so full! ❤️ It’s not always about winning yourself but watching the puppies you breed succeed in the homes you’ve sent them off to!! It doesn’t always happen overnight and that makes the big wins so much more special!

We would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to our friends at TopGun Kennels. They’ve been friends, team mates and competitors of ours for years but now they’re the official owner of MAX as well! We didn’t take selling max lightly but we knew he would be well taken care of and have the highest chance of staying in the spotlight while we take a back seat to hog baying.

Max, you have been an absolute dream to raise. You are so much more than just a hog dog to us. We look forward to watching you succeed and we will always be rooting for you!

MAX and his teammate GOOSE won both the two dog pro (split with Goose & Chip) AND the Two dog cup championship this past weekend!

⭐️ Fun fact: Max & Goose have never ran together and not hit first place!! ⭐️

We had us a BIG time at the Ocumulgee Wild Hog Festival. We were extremely lucky to win 1sr in the one dog with Max. Max has placed absolutely everywhere but this is his first 1st place in the one dog anywhere. Sequel (booths) brought us home second and cujo came in third. We hit first in the two dog with max and demon. It was the biggest show of the day. They earned every bit of that bay. Sequel and cujo came in second and our good friends at mac daddy kennels came in 3rd! We truly do not deserve these dogs. They don’t have to let us be their handlers but they choose to. If you know, you know. Good times, good dogs, good friends. I’d repeat this day everyday if I could!

I truly hope all dogs go to Heaven.

Our sweet girl peacefully crossed over this morning at almost 14 years of age. She was loved by our family for many years. She started as James Allen’s youth bay dog when he was a little boy. She spent some time away but she found her way back home to enjoy her last few years of retirement with us. She’s survived by her son Demon and 4 grand pups who all will all live out their days at R&A just like she did. We are thankful for the years with you, toddy. You were so special to us! We will see you on the other side! ❤️
