Fallon, our special guest at the event, is a lovely Plott hound mix around 2 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and being treated for heartworms. Fallon would love to find a forever home where she can be with other dogs, but cats might be too enticing to chase. Come say hello to this sweetie!

Pit Road family, we really need your help.
This little guy was surrendered to us after his family was unable to pay for his life saving surgery. He had a pr*****ed re**um and needed emergency surgery.
Dr. Averitt at Toano Animal Clinic performed the surgery.
The bill was very expensive and we could really use your donations.

Who wants to have fun this Saturday?? Pit Road Rescue will be manning Water Stop 3 for the Colonial Half Marathon in Williamsburg.
Set up is at 8:30 am. After the run we will be rewarded with pizza, beer and an amazing Hawaiian soup (so yummy).
It is such a fun event and one that we really enjoy. It is amazing to watch how fast some of the runners finish.

🚨UPDATE🚨 RIPLEY HAS FOUND HIS NEW HOME!

Ripley needs a new place to live.
Ripley- 5yrs 6months. Black and white. Lab/border collie mix. Up to date on all vaccines aside from bordetella. Gets along with kids and other dogs. On fluoxetine 60mg.
Very good boy aside from some separation anxiety. Has a habit of getting into things he shouldn't, but does not ingest them. Very active and energetic.

URGENT!!
Storm and Cash who are in need of a new home immediately. Though no fault of their own, they are losing their home. They were adopted but the new owner can no longer keep them.
They are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together if possible. Storm is the lighter color and Cash is the tri.
They're XL bullies and said to be lazy potatoes.
This is truly an urgent matter. We are trying to help the original owner keep them out of the local kill shelter.
They need a home with NO chickens...they are just too tasty!
Please can anyone help these sweeties?

Hey friends! Can anyone help out and foster 1 or 2 dogs for us? We are trying to help out with a rehoming situation.
The dogs are Duke, 7 years old, neutered and current on vaccinations. The other is Duchess, 4 years old, spayed and current on vaccinations.

Hallo errybody.

My name is Donkey. I will tell you something terrible.
My daddy died.
I will get straight to it. My Daddy left me and went to heaven. I am lost. He was so worried, before he left, that I would have to go to the shelter because he could not stay with me. The angels took him away and now I do not know what will happen to me.

I do not have good odds. I probably shouldn’t be with cats. I try to chase them. I am ok walking by other dogs on a leash, but I have never lived with other dogs. I am older. My puppy days are long gone. I am between 7-9 years old. I need grain free food.
Things do not look good for me. I was a good boy. I had a parent and best friend. We were happy. Now it is gone and nothing is certain for me.

Please share my picture. I wear sweaters and snuggle. I have put on a few pounds since these pictures and I have a few more grays…. But isn’t that all of us? I am trained to be gentle because my owner was fragile.

I am going to try to stay positive that there is a home for me. Maybe you need a friend too.

So, I told you about Claire, the pittapotamus but I didn't tell you that she is sweet and goofy. She dances and twirls, she skitters with her butt tucked.
After spending almost a year as a court case, she shows no lasting effects. She was in a good animal control facility with people who knew she needed a second chance at life.
She is housebroken and crate trained,
up to date on vaccinations, spayed and heartworm negative.
She is super affectionate and wants to be your best friend.

Weighing in at 1.5 pounds....meet Everlee!
Everlee is a blind, 18 year old chihuahua who may not have had the best life. That is about to change! She is my hospice foster due to her age and body condition.
Hopefully being fed baby food with minced dog food will up her weight so she won't be so fragile.
Alyce and Thor already like her❤️
