With last week's Dryland Challenge complete, I am done with trials for 2024. What a great year it's been. I want to thank all the amazing people and dogs I've met at trials this year for an awesome year.

I have one more trip this year working for Great Dane Photos. I'll be down at the AKC Invitational next week! Who am I going to see there? I always love getting to see local folks at big national events!

GUESS WHAT?

I was wrong.

The photos are ready NOW!

A few things to note:

1. I did not make it all the way through Saturday so I apologize profusely to anyone whose race I did not catch that day. I was somewhat unprepared for that level of cold and rain. I came back the next day better armed!

Another update on the photos from the North East Dryland trial! I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Sunday photos. I expect to have them ready to upload today.

HOWEVER...expect them on Monday as tomorrow we have to travel home from Vermont and I likely won't be able to start the uploading process until late tomorrow or early Monday.

A very happy Thanksgiving to all! We're in Vermont right now and expecting 10 inches or so of snow (and guess where my camera is? If you said "NOT HERE" you'd be correct!).

I want to give a special shout out and thank you to the folks at the North East Dryland Mushing race who all made me feel so welcome and who were such troopers in all the rain and mud! I'm working my way through the photos. I'm currently working on photos from day 1.

I'm starting to get my schedule together for 2025. Do you have a trial you would like a photographer for? I'm stepping outside of my usual sports next weekend and shooting the Northeast Dryland Challenge in North East, PA (hosted by the PA Sled Dog Club). Despite what you may believe, North East, PA is actually in northwest PA, out past Buffalo. I'm looking forward to trying out a new sport!

This past weekend I had an absolutely amazing time at the Premier Dog Sports. Such a fantastically run trial and so many great dogs and handlers. I enjoyed chatting with everyone, meeting new people, and seeing all your amazing jobs! All the people in charge of that trial should be so proud of their work. It really paid off!

I'm currently going through photos. Day 1 is all done and sorted into the dog's folders. Day 2's photos are all done and I'm about to start sorting them!

I've been working on some photos of my dogs from the trial. Here are a few post-processed photos from Saturday of Ben and Lea. Ben, for those who don't know him, found a love of FastCAT last year. He's now about 11ish, has his BCAT and is regularly running somewhere around 22mph. Not bad for an old guy!

Coming up next for me is the CPE agility trial at the Premier Dog Sports & Event Center in Lancaster, NY. That's right, I'm headed west in a couple weeks! I'll be there all three days (October 25-27). I'm so excited to get to head out there to shoot!

The photos you see on the site are what you'll get if you buy the downloads. You'll also see information on there about fully processed photos. For those I go all out and made the photos the best they can be! Here are some examples of photos taken at this trial. So if you go through your photos and there's one or two (or more!) that you love and want me to work on more, get in touch and I can do that!

Those photos will be put in a new folder and I'll send you the link as soon as they're done.
