This guy is a gorgeous black tabby. I’ve seen this coloring called a ghost tabby, which is very fitting for him- he has the personality Jackson Galaxy refers to as a wallflower. That means he is timid and shy a lot of the time, so he will not be going to a home with small children under age 10 or so. He is best buddies with my outgoing cat so he would do best with another cat who will encourage him to be brave. He also adores my dogs now that he has been here a while- he rubs in her and gives her head bumps. He would do well with a variety of pets in a proper introduction. He loves to snuggle and cuddle once he is comfortable. He has a great purr! He even gives me face kisses- he is truly a very sweet boy. He likes when I rub his belly and call him the chubby bunny. 🤣 He will definitely need slow introductions and patience. He does love to play with toys and they encourage him to come out and be social as well! He will eventually open up in his new home and be a little snuggly Angel, but that will take time. He would do well starting off at his new home in one room and slowly branching out into the house as he gets more and more comfortable. We are always happy to help with cases like his.

😍Update on jax:
He would do GREAT in a home with a dog lol. He and my dog became very good friends in just a couple days. He still can't live with other cats that aren't FELV positive. Previously I stated that he must be the only pet in the home but I am now declaring that he can be in a home with other pets as long as he has a proper introduction to them (I will help you every step of the way!). However, I do believe that at most it should just be him and 1 other cat and one dog. I do strongly believe he wouldn't do well in a home with lots of other pets.

Jax is looking for a family with NO other pets since he is FELV positive and has some territorial issues when it comes to sharing space with other animals. Kids of all ages are fine as long as they know how to respect boundaries (he's not a play rough kinda cat) but the noises and activity level of small kids doesn't bother him.
He comes when you call his name. It's adorable. He also plays fetch!
He is also looking for a home with lots of space and no closed off rooms. He needs access to every room in the house that is regularly used by the people in the home and he will be very vocal about this if he doesn't get his way lol
He doesn't mind being home by himself for long-ish periods of time but expect him to be all up in your business when you do get home if you've been gone a while lol
He LOVES to be brushed, especially right after a meal. Puts him right to sleep. He also loves to play with feather toys! He likes being picked up and will start purring the second he's in your arms.

Jax here is a 10 year old neutered and chipped male. He is incredibly friendly and would do well in a family with kids! He does need to be the only pet in the home but trust me, he's all the pet you need! He is what we call an attention hog 🤣
Jax would do best with a family who allows him access to every part of their home. No closed off spaces. This makes him very sad and he will definitely let you know it with his incredibly unique meow (you just have to hear it 🤣) he says hello to you when you get home! Literally! It sounds exactly like "hello!"
He is incredibly affectionate but not overly affectionate. He prefers you come to him but he's happy to be picked up and placed wherever you'd like him to be as long as he gets all the pets he could ever ask for :). He LOVES to be brushed as you can see in the video!

Felix would do GREAT with kids. He is a 10 year old boy but don't let his age fool you! He's still got some spunk in him! Lol he instantly starts purring the second you even look at him 🤣
He loves to go for walks on his leash and harness! He doesn't necessarily seak out cuddles but gets super super happy when you pick him up and bring him to you for some cuddle time. Felix loves a nice warm blanket to curl up on for his cat naps.
I also think Felix would do great with trick training once I can figure out what his bonus treat is lol he is a vocal boy so physical and/or mental exercise will definitely be needed. So he for sure needs someone who has about 30 minutes a day to spare on these exercises. He would also benefit from cat TV (fish tanks, bird feeders outside a window, stuff like that)
His adoption fee is $45 but if you want to foster him before deciding to adopt him we can lower the adoption fee to $25! I'll also give his foster and his adopter his leash and harness for free. Felix is FeLV positive so we must insist that he goes to a home with no other pets. This little goofy lady is around 3 years old and needs adopted, she has been with us since we got her little family in May. We are very open to adopting Moon out solo, since we’ve had no interest in anyone regarding their adoption. She is very good with children and does perfectly, and would probably also do well with other calm pets with a slow proper introduction.
She is a healthy, chunky, happy girl that has been through a lot and have come out on the other side wonderfully. She was in rough shape when she came to us with a boat load of kittens she took care of together perfectly with Sky. The babies are all healthy and adopted, let’s get these girls adopted as well.
Moon and her pal (maybe sister?) Sky came to us from the streets with lots and lots of parasites and upper respiratory issues. They needed months of vet care and rigorous medicine and disinfecting routines that were no joke. Their foster mom busted her butt to disinfect their things multiple times a day to ensure these girls got better. And they did! Now they are gorgeous, loving girls. Here is what their foster mama said about Moon:
“Moon (orange/white kitty) she is very playful and loving. She loves to be pet and follow you around. She wants to be wherever you are no matter what you are doing lol she is more of a lap cat where Sky is more of a loner. Moon also loves treats!
She would do well adopted together with Sky or in homes with other cats. The two girls are not bonded, but are lovely girls that live together very well and we would love to see them be able to go together. Both are good with children but do not like to be held too much. Both love to look out and be in the window.”

Jill is our little lady tuxedo, an independent woman who LOVES toys she can swat all through the house and crinkly kitten tunnels she can dart in and out of. When you scratch her back with a little fingernail action she arches up into a Halloween decoration kitty! “The Forever Kitten” located in Cincinnati
This girl was born around July 4th of last year, and we have had her since she was found at 4ish weeks old. She has been an up and down case, and we can honestly say we’ve almost lost her a couple of times and she is VERY lucky to be here! She will need a very special home soon. She is almost 4 pounds now at 10 months old, and the vet does not think she will get much bigger. She is a petite little darling who will likely be kitten sized forever. 😻
If you’ve been following her on our feed, you know she has been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease. This means she needs to be on a low dose steroid we get from a compounding pharmacy. Some cats later on in life can taper off of these steroids, and some cats have to stay on them forever. It is an affordable prescription, and a manageable condition. This also means we have to be VERY careful about what she gets into- she enjoys food a bunch, but can only have the food she is currently on. Food slip ups can lead to her having a bout of upset tummies and accidents 😞. She is currently eating Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried raw diet in Duck protein. She has done great with it and it has been the ONLY brand of food we have had success for her with. (As an adopter you will have free reign to try whatever food you’d like with your vet’s recommendation, but we use what works!)
Mystic is an independent girl when she wants to be, and a lover when she feels like it. She loves to watch the fish tank and the birds outside. She is working on getting used to a harness so she can go on backyard adventures (see video in comments) and really enjoys the company of laid back pet friends after she gets to know them slowly. She rubs all over my lab who thinks she is a mama, but my lab will absolutely leave her alone when she walks away and THAT is what makes a good BFF for Mystic. She does NOT want to go to a home wi
