For about 12 years I worked as a veterinary technician. I have studied animal behavior and care for a long time. In my spare time I like to volunteer with wildlife rescues and I love enjoying nature with my family. I am a mother to 2 beautiful daughters and I currently have a pack of 5 dogs, 1 macaw, 2 snakes, 2 Leopard Geckos, 18 chickens, a black piranha, a musk turtle and a mini pony! Thank you SO much to everyone who has been so supportive and so patient while I figure out this new system. Combining 3 systems into one with a large client base is proving to be more difficult than had hoped. But we’re getting there!! And it WILL be SO much easier to communicate and schedule with the new system! It’s just getting caught up is a little discouraging- but WE’VE GOT THIS! By the end of April/ beginning of May everything should be totally good to go! 🐾

TODAY WAS GREAT! The sun was shining and the pets were all happy to see us! (Besides a cat named Banjo. 😂) It was wonderful to see everyone! ♥️ ☀️

I am working really hard playing catch up from being gone while playing catch up with our system! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m getting through the messages, I promise! After my little road trip and getting a flat tire, I am now currently doing some messages as I wait in the urgent care lobby.lol No worries! A kitten I was rescuing on my way to take my sick cat to her vet, thought I was kitten napping him and he bit my knuckle pretty good. Due to previous gnarly cat bites, we don’t mess around! 👩🏼‍⚕️
But it’s nice and quiet so I’m able to get some work done! lol

Also, if anyone is in the market for a kitten, I now have SIX babies!

HAPPY THURSDAY Fur Feathers and Scales Family!! Here’s an update: the device for our new system came yesterday evening, YAY! BUT. Our New Business Phone Number is NOT compatible with the new system, BOO! If it’s not one thing, ya know!
The easiest thing to do, unfortunately, was get ANOTHER new number! Ugh 🤦🏼‍♀️

If you have called / text the previous number between 3/25 and 4/4 - I WILL send YOU a text with the new information and to confirm you are on the schedule!! I will be working on that ALL day today so please be patient! ♥️ This new system WILL be easier in the long run! 🤞🏼

We’re just being positive, Fur Feathers and Scales Family!! That’s all we can do! 🩵 The device we need to run our new system and be able to communicate better is on its way - originally told it would absolutely be here by today - I just got a notification that it is delayed until tomorrow! Super frustrating but we will get all of these things fixed and be good to go for our awesome clients!! Thanks again everyone for your patience! Jill and I can’t wait for these April Sundays!! 💛

HAPPY EASTER, Fur Feathers and Scales Family!!

I was able to get pretty much caught up on messages through the night last night, then my NEW system shut down! 😭 Don’t worry - I did enough of that for all of us - we have a GREAT solution! SO THANKFUL it was an easy fix - but unfortunately, it will take about 2 days to completely resolve.

IF YOU SEND A MESSAGE / CALL between Sunday March 31st and Tuesday April 2nd - I should recieve it but I will NOT be able to reply!

If I was in the middle of a conversation with you and you sent your information prior to 4am on 3/31 - I have you on the schedule! If I did not get your information - I WILL send a message Tuesday when our system is up and running and confirm your appointment!

Thank you every one for your patience while I get back at it! Because I am close to losing mine. lol
I’m staying positive though! We will get the new system figured out and get back on track!! ♥️

Update: Miller has passed.

Please send Miller ALL the good vibes you can. We’ve been at Med Vet since 6am due to Miller being out of it and lateral when we woke up this morning. They had to start CPR 5 minutes after walking in. We’re not really sure what’s going on, he’s critical, but the Doctors are doing what they can. We’re looking at about $10,000+ for his vet bill if we can get him stable enough to get to surgery. If you’d like to donate towards his care we’d really appreciate it! Fur, Feathers and Scales Family, thank you SO much to everyone who has reached out. I have been dealing with some personal / health issues recently and haven’t been able to be on my business account. I am so sorry for the inconveniences this has caused. I am starting to go through messages/comments today- but it will take me a few days to respond to everyone.
Luckily, things are starting to get better and the goal is to start up Trim Sundays again in November!! ♥️ I will post the schedule soon!
Unfortunately, there will be some changes to our services *until further notice* - I will no longer be offering Pet Sitting out of my home. In Home, Transport and Drop Off Bath Packages will not be offered until some time next year- aside from a handful of my regular clients. We will STILL be providing Trim Days where we come to your home and offer Toenail Trims, Dremeling, Ear Cleanings, Gland Expressions, ect.

Thank YOU to everyone who has supported me and my business. I absolutely adore my clients and their pets and this unexpected time away has been very difficult but we’re ready to get back to it! Thank you again and see you all soon! 🐾

You guys know how I fill bird feeders up with the dog fur I collect from bath packages?!…. Well, mama finch used it to make her nest on my porch! Look at how comfy these babies look! ♥️

Katrina's Fur, Feathers and Scales Family, we also offer snake removal. lol 🐍 This here is a harmless black ratsnake that made its way into Lindsey’s upstairs toilet that is rarely used.😂 He went for a soak because he was in shed and had eye caps pretty badly. He was released nearby and hopefully will get that shed off and continue controlling the mouse population around the house.♥️
