My name is Zeke. I first arrived at the shelter back in 2017, and have been back and forth ever since. Over the years I’ve had multiple families adopt me, then return me to no fault of my own. I thought I found my furever home a few months ago, but here I am again back at the shelter. To make a long story short, it was not a good fit for me.
I am tired. I am not happy about being back at the shelter. I want someone to commit to me! Please don’t make me wait here any longer. I deserve a home that will give me time, love and patience as I settle into a new environment once again. Here are some facts to get to know me:

❤️ 9 years old, 55lbs
❤️ Knows sit, shake, lay down (very smart!)
❤️ Good with other dogs and older kids
❤️ Loves rope toys and going for walks
❤️ Potty trained but would benefit from a home where he can be taken out frequently (old bladders aren’t what they used to be!)
❤️ Moderate/occasionally high energy

Community Cat Trappers - we are not accepting any community cats in traps for surgery on July 3 since we are closed the next day. We are only doing dog surgeries on Wednesday, July 3.

Bo is a 3 y.o. Dane who suffered an FCE 9 days ago that paralyzed his right hind leg. He cannot use his leg on land but in the water is able to move it. Lucy is a 9-1/2 year old bulldog-sharpei mix who has had 3 knee surgeries and has developed arthritis. This is her second swim. She is a natural born swimmer.

Ralphie swims at K9waves every week. Here he is meeting his new brother Noah. Sweetest video ever. ❤️🥰

Tish is a 5 y.o. Pug who is swimming for fitness and weight loss. She has made great progress since beginning a swim program. She would rather be on land but is an excellent swimmer. Quick video because she is hard to hold on to and swims fast to the dock. Tish will not tolerate a life jacket which would allow me to swim her in place.

Sheba has resumed her swim therapy after undergoing back surgery approximately 2 months ago. Her surgery was a success and greatly improved her quality of life. Sheba is a beautiful black lab who was adopted from Cincinnati Lab Rescue by her transporter who fell in love with her. Win win situation for Carol Alvin and Sheba.

Raven
