This picture is very personal and it isn’t flattering. This picture is the price we pay for loving a pet. Although these moments are painful, all the love and memories that build up to these moments make it worth it.
This is me with my 19 year old cat, Squiggy, saying goodbye in February 2023.
I am posting this now to say we understand. Here at Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital, we have had many clients, family, and friends have say goodbye to their beloved pets recently. Some had to make this choice, and some never got the chance. We know it is painful, and a decision that it isn’t made lightly. We are here for you in the happy times, and in these most difficult moments.

Happy Independence Day!
As you celebrate today, remember to keep your pets safe. Many are scared of the noise from fireworks and will try to run. Food from the grill may upset their stomach. A lot of people around that they aren’t used to during parties can cause anxiety and atypical behaviors.
