Just a casual night in the kitchen
The importance of the place command
These guys graduated from crates and are transitioning to their beds. I recommend indoor tethering when you are moving about the house, so the dog can’t wander off while you’re doing something else. I tether on average 20-30 minutes at a time, max, just so the dog knows I prefer him on his bed. This also helps build confidence and ease separation anxiety. As an added benefit, my crate spinner is much calmer, since there is no barrier. If they fall asleep, I leave them alone for a bit, unless I need to go somewhere or do something where I can’t look in on them frequently.
NEVER tie up a dog and leave him alone.

Short video showing how to begin training a dog with marker or clicker training. Marker training is marking a behavior you like. For example, luring a dog into a sit, you would ‘mark’ the moment his bottom hits the ground with a word or noise. But first, he must learn that particular noise or word means he gets a reward.
We have one spot available in April and 2 spots left in May! Thank you 🙏
I always encourage play in between obedience. I feel like my clients enjoy the obedience more that way. And it’s just FUN!
