AKC Scent Work trial put on by the Sacramento Beagle Club today.
Tess earned a leg in Novice Buried and Novice Exterior with a 2nd place in Exterior.
MoonDancer earned a leg in Novice Containers with a 4th place but a DQ in Novice Interiors. Sayyida earned her final leg in Advanced Buried to fi I sh that title and the overall advanced title. Thank you to the club, volunteers and judges for a fabulous morning.

Tess (Hank x Dani), Remy (Breno x Dani) and Winnie (Hank x Dani) had some fun this weekend at the International IABCA shows in Santa Rosa. They all came home with International titles. Thank you to the wonderful judges Stephen Cabral, David Miller, Diane Collings, Sharon Sparks MacDonald and Sally George for their kind words. Fun event and great hanging out with Kathy Souza, Caroline Everett and Mary Klays!

Only YOU can prevent these prolific destroyers of breeds and abusers of animals from profiting.

Puppies are 3 wks today and moved to the big pen last night. This morning was their first “solid” meal. They loved it and were actually quite good about not rolling in it.

Fireworks playing in the background. These puppies fall asleep to Thunderstorms. We are enriching their lives with different textures, noises and stimulation. They are held and played with.

Introducing Tuli x Seamus’s babies. 1 wk old, all pups are spoken for, parents on HLD. Health tested per the PWDCA recommended testing policy. 3 males and 3 females:
The names are birth order. Female black curly- Beretta , Male, curly-C**t, Male, soft curly- Wi******er, Female party colored, curly- Cricket, Female Irish marked, wavy-Kimber, Male Irish marked, wavy- Marlin.

These two brothers had a terrific weekend at Del Valle. ( Breno x Dani)
Rocco earned 4 pts with WD/BW Friday and Saturday. WD today but no crossover so no points. Needs a point to finish.
He also earned his CGC and Trick Novice titles.
Remy went BOS Friday and Sunday and Select dog Saturday for a total of 9
Grand Champion points which included 2 majors and wins over other Champions all 3 days. Way to go boys!

Triss and Janis nailed Scent Work Novice and earned titles in all 4 elements to not only earn their Scent Work Interior/Exterior/Buried/Container (SIN/SEN/SBN/SCN) titles but also their overall Scent Work Novice Title (SWN). Congratulation to team Triss!
Triss also earned placements along the way and completed these titles in 3 straight trials.

Oliver (Viriatos x Cassie) enjoying the lake.

Part of the puppy development is helping them adjust and desensitize to loud noises. Yesterday it was fireworks followed later by thunderstorms. Today traffic noise with horns and sirens and crazy dogs barking. Pups are 4 .5 weeks and adjusting well.

The puppies first time hearing fireworks! These pups have listened to thunderstorms and heavy rain for the last 10 days, now they move on to more noise. Helping puppies desensitize to outside stimulus.

Feeding time at the zoo! The Elements litter (Mercury, Lithium (Li), Titanium, Krypton, Magnesium (Maggie), Argon, Cobalt, Beryllium (Lilly) and Xenon (Xe pronounced Chee). Hank and Dani! 23 days
