I just have to give a shout out to Bailey Exotic Silkies . She has been absolutely amazing to work with for my DNA sexing. Shipped samples Saturday morning, they made it from Oklahoma to her in Cali yesterday, and results are already in! ♥️🧬🩸

I am ISO an excellent quality Mauve silkie c**k. No NN as the pen I am needing him to cover has NN ladies and I am not into st*****rs. 😂 Also no satins and no frizzles. Must be breeding age, or at least very close to it. I am located in Oklahoma, but understand this will have to be a shipping deal and with the weather and shipping delays recently we may have to hold off on shipping for a couple of weeks, but I figured I would start my hunt now! Lol

I am being swamped with messages and am so thankful! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently sorting grow outs and taking photos as I will be posting today and tomorrow and then I also have about 50 chicks to DNA test this evening. I promise to reply to everyone this weekend! ♥️ I am NOT currently shipping. Due to the crazy storms and so many delayed, lost, and deceased birds this week that were shipped by breeders from all over, I will be holding off shipping until the first Monday in May that way hopefully USPS has time to get it together after all of these storms. Thank you all for your patience. 🙂

I was having a really hard time picking who to keep between this lady and her sister. One week later and it made it easier. This is who will be staying and will be heading to a breeding pen this coming weekend after a much needed spa day. ♥️

All of the pens received new grit and oyster shell dispensers today. I know some people don't add these things, but my birds do not free range daily to be able to find their own grit and I mix my feed instead of using strictly layer feed as it is not good for our boys, so the girls need that bit of extra calcium. 🥰

Had someone that needed a chocolate boy so in the box all of my chocolate babies went. Weeded out the DNA confirmed pullets and was actually only left with 2 chocolate boys. After looking them over, one is available and this one checks all the boxes able to be checked at 7 weeks old. If she doesn't take him he will be staying. Such a cute little guy. 🤎🤎🤎

I am looking to do some trading! My best friend has been on the hunt for excellent quality brahma eggs. I am hoping to find someone that is willing to swap a dozen or 2 eggs with me so that I can gift them to her. 🙂 I breed silkies in multiple colors (options are paint/black, chocolate/mauve, and BBS bred to SOP) as well as bantam cochins (mille and porcelain). This was so kind of her to do! As someone that COULD NOT figure out the USPS site to properly quote shipping this would have come in so handy. I know several friends and myself had asked multiple breeders with experience shipping if we could PAY them to make a short video showing them pretending to ship us a bird and we were left on read every single time. These are breeders we had conversated with on multiple occasions previously and/or ordered birds/eggs from on multiple occasions. Almost like they feel like you will encroach on their business or something. 🙄 I know this breeder took a lot of time to type this up and I know someone out there is as lost as we were so I just had to share!
