We just received a wonderful update about our Rip. His new family says he is obsessed with their son and that it was meant to be. We couldn’t be happier to hear this good news and Rip looks right at home!

Here is Blanche from a photo sent to us last night by her new family. The transformation from intake to adoption has been miraculous. After another trainer told us that behavioral euthanasia was possibly our best and only option with her terror of people being so bad, even looking at her caused her to urinate and at times even defecate on herself. Many months later our Rescue got rescued when Focused Knine introduced themselves to us at an event at Pet Supplies Plus and we consulted about Blanche. The rest is history and this photo below speaks for itself, and what we at PupSavers worked and prayed for so hard for a very long time is now a reality.

We cannot say enough good things about Pet Supplies Plus in Clarksburg. Not just the store in general but their grooming department is outstanding. Lauren is an amazing groomer, and here are before and after pictures of her recent groom of our little Ewok that show just how much an expert groomer can turn a dirty, matted pound puppy into an adorable adoptable muffin! We love it! Thank you! 🐶 ❤️

Chip has made the long trip over to his new home. Bonus- his new mom is a groomer and she trimmed him up and threw a diaper on him because he wanted to let everyone know he was there 😂. We love a prepared, dedicated adopter! We wish you all the best!!!

Chip has left the building!!! we are thrilled to see Chip adopted and have a loving family. If you’re not familiar with Chips story, Chip belonged to a farmer and lived on a farm outdoors, his whole entire life until the farmer died. He was passed along several times before finally being surrendered to us here at PupSavers. Now he’s headed to the great state of Ohio to be loved and cherished for the rest of his life and we couldn’t be happier. Happy trails to you both!!! @

Good morning! As subzero temperatures approach, we are trying to make space in our Rescue to allow us for new intakes due to the weather. We don’t want to have to turn away for space during this critical time. Here are the pictures below of our available dogs for adoptions. Meet and greets can be arranged today and tomorrow at Pet Supplies Plus - Clarksburg, WV or Tractor Supply here in Clarksburg. If you are interested in any of the dogs below, please message us with your email address and a volunteer will send you an application that you can fill out and email back and we will begin processing your application ASAP. 3 free training sessions with Focused Knine are included with each adoption as well!

Blanche has been adopted!!! She also had public access training and did amazing! This has been a very long journey for us with Blanche, and we are moved to tears by this happy ending that we’ve worked so hard for and at times I thought would never happen. Like we have posted earlier today without.Focused Knine, this would not have been possible. This the third dog of ours that we thought were almost hopeless that they have turned around. Congratulations to you, Blanche. We wish the world for you. You certainly deserve it.

Please be aware that we are facing SUBZERO temperatures in the next week. Please, if you have outside animals or caring for ferals please get STRAW now. In Clarksburg as of today Southern States, tractor supply and Lowe’s all have straw. Hay, shavings and blankets will not insulate against the cold and wet conditions like straw.

***Blanche has been adopted***

Blanche is making amazing progress over at Focused Knine. They have really done amazing work with her. She came from an abuse case and spent a lot of time at animal control while the criminal case was adjudicated. She came with another golden that she was trauma bonded to. She will now walk on a leash and doesn’t cower and urinate on herself when you look at her. This has been a labor of love for many months and hopefully today she will have her own family to be loved and cherished forever. This could not have happened without Focused K9. We cannot recommend them enough at this point! Here are some before and after photos.

Meet Chip! This big hunk of love is 7 years old. His owner recently passed away and he had nowhere to go. Don’t let that grey in his face fool you, he’s in his prime and these young sprouts can’t keep up. He’s of course, a purebred Golden Retriever, he’s UTD on all of his shots. Chip has lived outside his whole life but he doesn’t mind coming inside and would probably very quickly enjoy a nice bed of his own. He loves being outside but that’s because that’s all he’s known. He loves car rides and he’s friendly with everyone except chickens 😂 he also killed a giant rat by one of our outbuildings!
