Last but not least, we have Faith!
Faith has been in my care as a boarder for about 4 years. She was surrendered to the rescue when her mom came down on army orders that would keep Faith alone way too long. She was previously adopted, but returned due to her and the new dog not getting along. This girl is sweet as pie and loves everything. Food? Yep! People? Yep! Car rides? Yep! Dogs, cats, kids? Yep, yep, yep! What she loves most is water! She loves the garden hose and a kiddie pool ro splash her days away. She is crate trained and housebroken as well. She is available for adoption through Critter Cavalry Rescue! 🧡🐾

Heidi girl is looking for her furever!
Heidi is a gentle giant that loves her person. She is an absolute sweetheart who depends on her people. She first came to me (a smidge over year ago) shy, scared, and unsure of how to be a dog. Now, she's happy, healthy, and loves her friends! She will play with any dog, loves to run, and lives for her food and treats. She is crate trained(LOVES her crate), housebroken, and does well with dogs and children. She tolerates the cats, but sometimes her curiosity gets her in too deep. She is available for adoption through Critter Cavalry Rescue 🧡🐾

This is Nina!
Nina is a sweet girl that just wants some stability. She loves food and treats, attention from her people, and a lot of play time with her 4 legged friends. She is crate trained, housebroken, good with other dogs, cats and children. She is very shy at first, but warms up fairly quick. She will need some confidence boosting to really bring out her character, but we are getting there little by little. She is available for adoption through Crittar Cavalry Rescue 🧡🐾

**New foster alert! ⚠️

This sweet girl is Haven! She is perfect in every way that I could describe a dog. She's housebroken, crate trained, great with my 2 year old, good with cats and other dogs too! She could use some confidence building, but I think that will come with a solid relationship bond. She loves to smile and lives for food, treats and love!

She is available through Tennessee Dachshund Rescue 🧡🐾

June was the busiest month yet! Included is our 4th of July herd photos as well. We had an excellent group of guests and really nice weather for plenty of outdoor play time.
We took in a new daycare boy, welcome to Ben the lab/husky!
We had a lot of fun adventures with this crew. And my favorite pictures, as you scroll, was Ares when she's finished with her meals. She held her bowl and waited patiently for me to take it 🥰
Some days are long and can be hard, but I'm so grateful for what I get to do with all our friends 🧡🐾

Howdy folks!

After a long time of low season, we have been booked SOLID since the weather has been coming around! We took in a short term foster pair, who were just great to have, while their parents bought a home and waited to close. We had one of our rescue fosters adopted after 6 long months of her waiting on her forever home. Heidi girl(first few pictures) is still awaiting on hers. We've had several drop-in clients, new daycare dogs, new boarders, and a lot of our regulars returning!
Excited to see what else this summer has in store 🧡🐾

November was a great month! Very eventful in our schedule with a trip home for my daughter's first birthday, a flyball tournament the next weekend, and a holiday weekend. We had a lot of wonderful guests for Thanksgiving! We took a few days to recover from the haul and get back into our groove. We welcomed a lot of our regulars and some new faces! Including two French bulldog puppies, Athena and Artemis, who will be part time daycare attendees 🥰

We can't wait to see our Christmas crew in just a couple of short weeks! 🎄🎅

Legend Acres has Partnered with the Sango Veterinary Hospital to offer Group Classes at the clinic!!!!
Now offering flyball foundation classes with Queen City Road Runners Flyball Club, Clarksville / Dickson Tn!!!
Flyball is a fun fast family friendly team sport, open to all dogs of any breed including mixed breeds.
Thursday night course runs 6 consecutive weeks starting on March 2, 2023 for $180
Foundations 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Please note that you will need a crate, high value treats, a favorite toy or tug, and water for your pup.

Hello folks! Friendly reminder, your pets must meet the following criteria to stay with us at KKBFC:

▪︎Spayed/neutered if over 1 year old. There are few exceptions to this, please reach out if you believe this may include your pet.
▪︎Crate trained. This is a safety precaution. Pets are crated while unsupervised to avoid any accidents. This includes meal times, as each dog is different when it comes to their food and that's the most likely time for a disagreement among dogs.
▪︎Play well with other dogs. Big or small, we love them all! Given our group play dynamic, I would hate to single anyone out if I don't need to.
▪︎Be child-friendly. I don't let my 2 year old in a dog's personal space, but I do need them to have some type of child experience before staying with us.

All of these things have made stays much smoother for everyone involved! We love our house guests and it's even better when everyone gets along. Thank you very much for your understanding! 🧡🐾

October was full of fur! We had a TON of regulars return, which we love to see 🥰 We also had some new faces that were all so well behaved and sweet as pie!

Friendly reminder for the upcoming holidays: book EARLY for your Thanksgiving and Christmas getaways! I have 3 remaining spots for Thanksgiving, and the Christmas requests are starting to come in frequently.

Running a little behind on the September update, but it was a great month!
Jessie(my GSD) and I attended another flyball tournament and she raced her heart out! If you think your pup may be a good flyball candidate, don't hesitate to reach out to Queen City Road Runners Flyball Club, Clarksville / Dickson Tn! It's a club I love to be a part of and there is always have room for more!

We had some of our regulars return and met some new faces too! Everybody got along beautifully and had so much fun. I feel like I blinked and the month was gone so fast!

August was full of so much fun! I had a flyball tournament with my GSD Jessie, and she ran her first race and gained two titles for the first time ever! I'm still just so proud of her as we gear up for another tournament this weekend.

We kept up with our usual drop-in kids, some regular boarders and our Dane pair that we just adore(I'm a fiend for Great Danes). We took in two foster puppies, one of which has been adopted by a great friend of ours. Wink(black with the white striped face) is still up for adoption if you're looking for a new pup to add to your clan! He is available through Lifehouse Animal Refuge and Rehabilitation!

We also said goodbye to Kai the dood, the sweetest boy I've grown to love as a member of my own crew. Since March, he's been coming to daycare 3-4 days a week and boarding as needed. He had a lot of big brother training as he learned to be around a baby with us. He is expecting his first human sibling around the end of October and we can't wait to see pictures! He's off to New adventures in another state. We already miss him dearly!

We love your pets just like our own. Especially when you choose to repeat services with us, they become a part of our extended family. That's always our promise!

July was such a busy month I hadn't even recapped! So many vacations, to include my own to visit family in Ohio. All these sweet babies did wonderfully! We had a great group through July, consisting of some of our repeat clients and some new faces that we knew to love! It was so dry and so hot, but keeping cool is a top priority here. We got the hose out for some play time and *most* of the pups loved it 🧡🐾

June was quite the month! We met several new faces, obtained a pair of new daycare dogs(welcome ridgebacks, Tybee and Penny!), a new regular drop-in boy who is SO handsome (Draco the GSD), celebrated a 2nd birthday for Penny the dood(complete with birthday cookie and doggy ice cream) and a hosted lot of wonderful sweet babies over some busy weekends!
I thank you all so much for supporting my business and choosing me to care for your loved ones. I love watching them have so much fun and go home tired!
