We've all pondered what heaven might be like - right?
I'm guilty of thinking there is a sewing room up there for me and Granny to be able to sit and quilt for all eternity.
Guilty?
Why do I use that word?
Because we will be doing so much more than the things our heart desires here on earth.
We will be doing something most of us get tired and bored of all too quickly...singing
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty!

Let's think on this for a bit...
Why is it we bore so easily, so quickly of the Creator of all...all the earth, all nature, all mankind? Is HE not oh so much more than we could ever begin to imagine or dream!?
Why is it we seek the comforts of this dieing, lost world...when the Creator of it all - even before buy especially after the fall - is extending an open hand just patiently awaiting our heart to turn towards HIM...unwavering and yielding to HIS Spirit!
He's callin...what will we answer?
Will we continue to delay the enduring, unending relationship HE has always desired and designed for us to have with HIM!?
I pray we not waste another second!

God has brought Lisa and John Bevere back for my spiritual and mental growth and I am beyond thankful! John speaks in a way I can understand and grasp things I have struggled with all my life...but then the Holy Spirit is also definitely at work which makes ALL the difference in the world!
Praying yall take a moment to read this from John Bevere and evaluate your own "Fear of the Lord".
There was a time in my life when I would have told you I feared God—but my actions told a different story.

A number of years ago I was looking for a publisher for my first book and was approached by a nationally known publishing house. When the publisher gave us their proposal, the deal seemed too good to be true. I couldn’t believe that such a major publishing house was interested in my book! But as Lisa and I prayed about it, we both felt uneasy and knew that we did not have God’s peace to move forward.

Nevertheless, after weeks of continuing to hear them out, they won me over. Over time, I had suppressed the lack of peace and against the Holy Spirit’s leading and my wife’s caution, I signed the deal.

It was disastrous. Immediately after signing the deal, all kinds of trouble broke out.

For a string of three months, I was continually battling sickness and injury. I went from the flu to a viral infection to a fever that lasted for weeks to a knee injury that put me on crutches. Making matters worse, nothing seemed to be working out with the publisher—we couldn’t agree on anything, and our relationship was breaking down. Could this be why David wrote, “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word”? (Psalm 119:67)

God was quite merciful to me in this situation, and He allowed me to see my folly. I’d put ministry success before obedience to Him. I admitted my error to God and my wife, Lisa. I was forgiven and cleansed. His mercy is so amazing!

However, I was still trapped. We needed a miracle to get out of the contract with this publisher. Lisa and I joined hands and pleaded for God’s intervention. Within a couple of weeks, the publisher wrote and said they were canceling the contract. I was relieved, but it came with a hefty price tag—

If you aren't familiar with Satins they are like a Silkie in every way except smooth feathered which enables you to a lot more color choices than Silkies have. They have same personality and sweetness as Silkies.
Neither have started laying yet...but won't be much longer!
Ignore the paints dirty hair...she's a messy eater lol!

I now enjoy my grandbabies and these floofy little bearded babies - thank You Lord for Kratom and for using Cherity like you did over a year ago now!!!

OMGeeze ...

My oldest, Joey, does his normal crowing this morning...and then I hear what sounds like a little girl screaming! 

So I jumped up and checked the chicken cams...nothing. Everything looks normal. 
I listen to see where it is coming from cause I hear the screams after every crow of Joey's...
Hubs had gone upstairs to sleep cuz he couldn't breathe from the cats having been in our bed so he's all stopped up n gonna have to go back to sleeping upstairs. 
I hollered to see if it was him...nothing.
I keep listening and following the "little girl screams"...not coming from upstairs...not coming from outside...the garage...Coco!
Coco is belting out what he thinks is his best crow...over and over and over!

Daisy, Satin pullet at 17 weeks old, recessive white! She's beauty, she's grace, she's gaugeous!!! She will have some pretty babies too...just wish her legs were little shorter. She is built more like Bluey.

There are LOTS of bearded chickens out there two of which are the Silkie and Satin!
Silkies are one breed.
Satins are another breed. Though not currently recognized in the poultry associations, Satins are a project breed that is growing fast!
The difference between a Silkie and a Satin are the feathers! Silkies have the "fur-like" feathers and Satins have "smooth" standard feathers.
The first pic is of a splash colored Silkie hen.
The second pic is or a columbian based Satin rooster.
What I absolutely LUV about the Satin breed is the variety of color combinations you can have!!! From laced to mille fleur, the possibilities are practically endless!!!

13 out of 16 going in lockdown...3 never developed and were pulled at day 7.
Sure hoping to get some dark buffs or red like Lara from !!! Hope the rest look a lot like this little dude hatched last November - Grayson!
