Red in the morning sailors warning….
Thankful for all of the early reports that we were getting from our trusted forecasters. We have been preparing for this cold air for a couple of weeks and for the storm for a little over a week. (BAM - BAMWX.com Southwest Ohio Weather Freak)
Our horses have all their needed supplies and their owners have intrusted us to their care. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously.

Phase 1 of another project in the books!
Opening up a wall in our back barn for an additional doorway.
Better airflow, safety and ease of getting in/out of the barn.
The door should be here any day now!

We’re having quite a bit of work done at our farm, and there was a gentleman who delivered a load of gravel today. The gentleman got down out of his trucking asked if he could see some of the horses.
“Of course!” I told him.
We went inside, and he was very observant. Noticing all kinds of things about each of them. Then told me that he used to ride and how much he loved just being around them.
After chatting for a little bit, he told me he had to get back to work, but he left me with this quote that I had never heard before: “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man”. I’m thankful that he shared with me.
Before leaving he said “I like you, young lady. You have your feet grounded and I can tell you care about these horses”.

S&S fixing the last two winter lots, elimating muddy issues we dislike! We are so happy with the improvements we continue to make on the farm for the horses and our boarders!

Automatic waterers going in our front summer pastures!
Big enough for our horses that have grazing muzzles. Varnan waterers from Lexington KY.
