Weaning has begun! Puppies have been drinking from moms daily dish of raw goats milk for about a week and a half now and are now having warmed raw goats milk with raw ground venison twice a day(venison has been kept frozen which kills any bacteriaโฆ.never feed raw, never been frozen, meat). Raw goats milk and raw red meat are full of enzymes, probiotics, powerful antioxidants, essential fatty acids, concentrated vitamins (such as essential vitamin K2) and trace minerals in a live, whole food form! This gives puppies the best start possible!
Weaning is a gradual process. Mom and babies set the pace and the timing of weaning varies from litter to litter. These babies are ahead of schedule and doing fantastic! โค๏ธ๐ฉ

The Box Game(part of the Puppy Culture communication trinity)is part of our puppy education. It teaches puppy that they can communicate with us by offering a behavior and getting something they want as opposed to them jumping on you or getting frustrated because they want or need something.
My daughter wanted to learn how to train the puppies too so she is doing the training in this video. You can see that she was either late on the click or missed the click about 3 times. The BOX GAME teaches the puppy to offer behaviors to get a reward. In Puppy Culture breeders do this by playing the โbox gameโ where a small box is placed on the floor by the puppy and they are clicked whenever they interact with the box. As the game goes on and they start to pick up on the fact that they are getting treats for touching the box, theyโll offer that behavior more often and quickly. We donโt really care that they learn to touch a box, just that they learn to keep trying new things until there is a click.
