We're pretty sad that these two little old angels haven't yet been adopted from Puurrrfect Paws Rescue. They came to us at just 5 weeks of age, in July. Now FULLY vetted they've been patiently waiting for their forever home since September!
Pepita and Chalupa are a bonded pair, you'll know this when you hear Chalupa crying when Pepita is out of his sight for more than a few minutes.
Pepita's eye was removed due to damage from a severe infection but that hasn't slowed him down!
Chalupa is a serious snuggler, but together, they are just perfect.

We have just one wish this holiday season, and that's to see these boys get to have the zoomies in a home that's larger than a cage or small room and get back all the love they just want to give you.

Seriously - when was the last time your cats (or even your kids) posed for pictures as well as these two did??? And how about these amazing Pet Portraits by Ashlea!

Has your kitty recently been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth? NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC is recruiting cats who have been diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma for a treatment study that includes radiation therapy. All treatment is performed by Veterinary Oncology Specialists at no charge (an approx. $8500 value). Info flyer attached.

This is how you get NO work done!
Kinnara is a gorgeous available for adoption from Puurrrfect Paws Rescue. He was left behind when his owners moved away, but the dedicated folks at Cats MEOW TNR swooped in to rescue him from a life on the streets. He’s now neutered, FeLVFIV negative, fully vaccinated and microchipped. We’re hoping his furever home is just around the corner because we need to get back to work!

Sunday, SUNDAY!!
Many dedicated folks around town spend countless hours of their own time and money working hard to ensure that as many as possible of the cats on the streets, a DIRECT result of people’s refusal to spay and neuter their pets, GET spayed/neutered, ear tipped and returned (TNR) to their locations. Sometimes kittens too young to be TNR’d are found. This event is to showcase these kitties as having been socialized by a dedicated network of fosters, vetted and ready for adoption. Please check them out this Sunday at the Humane Society of Clarksville - Montgomery County. Also in attendance will be Puurrrfect Paws Rescue and Cats MEOW TNR.

OFF-THE-STREETS ADOPTION EVENT... this Sunday, September 22 at the Humane Society building. Let us explain...

Not ALL of our Cats MEOW TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts actually result in TNR. When situations & resources allow, after TNR-ing mama cats, we do our VERY best to catch the babies early enough (typically between 5-8 weeks) in hopes they can be socialized & adopted into loving homes through local cat rescue partners. Finding them indoor homes reduces the community cat population AND increases each kitten's life expectancy from 2-5 years as outdoor cats to 9-18 years as indoor family members! We have saved hundreds of kittens in this way.

Every baby attending this event (pics on flyer!) was saved by our TNR team, socialized by wonderful foster families, and are looking for furr-ever homes through Puurrrfect Paws Rescue. We are SO proud of how far these little ones have come, and we would LOVE for you to STOP BY and meet them!

Ages range from 3 months to 6 months. All are fully vetted, including spay-neuter, vaccines, deworm, microchip, flea/tick prevention & FIV tested. Adoption fees are just $125 to help offset costs of vetting (valued at $300+ per cat).

Also, our RE-TAIL STORE WILL BE OPEN! Every adoption includes a $5 credit in our store (must be used at time of adoption). Our prices are purr-ty darn paw-some, so $5 can go a long way to help you spoil your new kitty!
