The Cats on Commerce Exceptional Veterinary Care and Boutique Boarding We provide veterinary medical care and boarding almost exclusively for cats.

Our facility is designed specifically to meet the quiet, low-stress environment that is required for cats who are sick or simply in need of a wellness visit. Our boarding area includes multi-level condos that are custom made for cats, with garden views and environmental enrichment. We also offer kitty TV during the day. Our DVD's show squirrels, birds, fish, butterflies etc. End of life decisions

and events are stressful, emotional ones. In an effort to try and ease the emotional burden during this difficult time, by appointment only, we offer in-home euthanasia. Rabbits are also welcome at The Cats on Commerce for medical care and boarding. Other small exotics such as ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs and hedgehogs are also welcome to board at The Cats on Commerce, however we do NOT routinely offer medical care for these species. We DO NOT see dogs, no, not even small ones!

We're pretty sad that these two little old angels haven't yet been adopted from Puurrrfect Paws Rescue. They came to us at just 5 weeks of age, in July. Now FULLY vetted they've been patiently waiting for their forever home since September!
Pepita and Chalupa are a bonded pair, you'll know this when you hear Chalupa crying when Pepita is out of his sight for more than a few minutes.
Pepita's eye was removed due to damage from a severe infection but that hasn't slowed him down!
Chalupa is a serious snuggler, but together, they are just perfect.

We have just one wish this holiday season, and that's to see these boys get to have the zoomies in a home that's larger than a cage or small room and get back all the love they just want to give you.

Seriously - when was the last time your cats (or even your kids) posed for pictures as well as these two did??? And how about these amazing Pet Portraits by Ashlea!

Has your kitty recently been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth? NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC is recruiting cats who have been diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma for a treatment study that includes radiation therapy. All treatment is performed by Veterinary Oncology Specialists at no charge (an approx. $8500 value). Info flyer attached.

Kinnara is a gorgeous available for adoption from Puurrrfect Paws Rescue. He was left behind when his owners moved away, but the dedicated folks at Cats MEOW TNR swooped in to rescue him from a life on the streets. He’s now neutered, FeLVFIV negative, fully vaccinated and microchipped. We’re hoping his furever home is just around the corner because we need to get back to work!
