Success story ๐ฅฐ Tucker came from our shelter a while ago. He was picked up behind McDonaldโs and needed some medical care badly this rescue got him right away and he is now almost unrecognizable from the day we picked him up
Happy Tongue Out Tuesday from Tucker!
Tucker has the biggest heart. He won't show you until he's sure your trust worthy. However that doesn't take long. Given his first 4 months of life it makes sense he is a little afraid. He is learning a lot in his foster home about trusting people . All of the fosters he has met make sure he gets the love he didn't have as a baby. See Tucker's first family abandoned him and he got injured. But some kind folks rescued him and he came to Florida to have knee and hip surgery. Doctors at Blue Pearl fixed his knee with five pins and also fixed his hip. Tucker has done some exercises, some swimming, and land rehabilitation, and can walk and run well. He does limp sometimes but it doesn't hold him back. We found out recently he LOVES the beach and he does well on the sand.
Tucker is very special and would thrive with an adopter that is familiar with large breed males. He's very easy to correct he can't stand his person to sound disappointed.
He's good with dogs and kids!
He's curious about cats he did not chase the one he met.
If you're familiar with labs and bully breeds he's pretty easy to figure out. He loves long walks and cuddling in bed. 7 month old Tucker gets neutered on May 28th and then will be ready to join your family. If you feel your family is a great fit for Tucker and you live in the central Florida/Orlando area please send in an application and let us know more about your family. โค๏ธ
