Here's what happy looks like

A great day for a Heaven's Gate Farm baby. Sunrise Surprise ran in her very first race today at Belterra. 6 furlongs. At the start she was 7th out of 8, fell to last on the back stretch. In fact you can't see her in the video. She's #5 jockey wearing a green helmet cover with pink & blue silks. Then at the top of the stretch, you'll see her move up into a space right on the rail. Jockey goes to the whip & that little girl kicks it into overdrive. She ends up 2nd!! What a well run race for the first time out. And to top it off, today is Sunny's official 3rd Birthday!!! Extra carrots for you!🐴👍😘🥕🥕🥕

In the lead all the way until Chelsea Keiser put the hammer down on her horse. That's ok. Lynn needs a couple more times out as a maiden.

Strollynn going for a leisurely gallop at Bellterra Racetrack. Plans had been for her to run her 1st timed workout at 3/8 of a mile in company, but the weather changed everyone's plans. Maybe Saturday.
