This is Odie. He is about 9 months old. Even though Odie’s owners are amazing about brushing him, he came in with some tight matting this time. The mats were caused by Odie’s adult coat starting to come in and getting tangled with his soft puppy coat. If you have a long haired puppy around 8-9 months old keep an eye out for mats and get your puppy in to the groomer so they can safely remove the matting and keep your puppy happy and comfortable.
