The first batch of fall litters are here and doing well! Lots of rew and orange this time with a smattering of amber, chocolate tort, cream, and lynx. 2 litters coming in a couple weeks and all sired by incredible bucks. I'm excited for this season 😁

Last chance on this buck!

Frost is almost 3 years old and has really turned my program around, but he's far outproduced himself and ready to retire. He has great head, ears, and hindquarter roundness, but doesn't hold condition well anymore and is pretty narrow across the hindquarters. He's over breed standard weight.

I would prefer a pet home for him but he can be a brood animal in the right place. Shoot me a message to chat about him, he'll be open for discussion until Oct 8.

Once again I forgot to take pics during the actual show, but I brought 6 velveteens to BSRBA's show at the Utah State Fair last weekend. Rabbit Shack's Marigold took BOB and Rabbit Shack's Prince took BOSB.

These two does are already over 8 weeks old! We lost the third to the heat and weaning enteritis. These two both struggled for a while but made it through. They be getting evaluated here in a week or two or three 😊

Sent this chocolate tort jr doe to her new digs this morning (you can tell I'm not a morning person by my east facing posing table 😜)

I'll be posting an amber jr doe shortly and a buck or two may be popping up after a September show.

Surprise! Coconut's been a bad mom and lost her past 2 litters, but she was very hormonal so I threw her in with Frost for one last shot this spring. She had 6 babies, but 1 was stillborn and 2 failed to thrive. These three kits seem to be doing well though: 1 REW, 1 lilac, and 1 castor. Hopefully they continue to grow well this summer and I get another doe with Coconut's beautiful head shape.

The kids were evaluated early this week and after picking holdbacks and reaching out to waitlist folks these are the remaining buns ready to hop.
Fully pedigreed, I'll be meeting Up North Pet Taxi in June, Grey Havens in July, and possibly Colleen Wagner in July so there are plenty of nationwide transport options!

Opal (bottom) is genetically a dilute agouti, while lynx (top) is a chocolate dilute agouti. I love what chocolate does to most colors. Do you work with chocolate?
