PRAETORIAN KENNELS is accepting offers on Gunner. He has been started and has shown true potential. This is for more serious handlers/owners. He still needs to be finished however, he will add a lot to someone's program. He has great drive for toys/balls. He does hold a high level of possession, so a bond will have to be achieved before you just take it from him. He is not the type of dog that will warm up to you in a day. Again, a bond will have to be built before you just get behind him on a leash. He has a very even drive when it comes to prey/civil. He will defend his handler very fast. We have been more recently working on friendly greeting of the handler. He is on a suit but needs to be finished. All basic commands such as sit, down, recall, out, and heel have been accomplished. The goal for Gunner when we got him back was to build him and imprint behaviors for protection work. We have done that. He is not cheap, so serious inquires only. Please remember we don't have to get rid of him and we will not give him away.

Praetorian Kennels Gunner got out today after almost 6 or 7 months and got to get a grip. This is 6th maybe 7th time working. I get caught up working everyone else's dogs and sometimes don't get mine the work they need. He is still green but I'm letting him figure it out. He is going to be a wrecking machine. We have to work on his targeting and a few other things but I'm happy with him. Raw gentics he likes to bite. Thanks for the work

Praetorian Kennels WDA and PPD club very own is out on the field, getting ready to start her on her ob routine. We had to get out of the way so the dog would respond better to our daughter. With that being said was more than willing to help. They did amazing with our dog and child. I can't say enough about those guys. Top knotch. With that being said, sometimes you can get more by stepping back. I will never force our child to do something she doesn't enjoy. She is so competitive that she wears her heart on her sleeve. Trusting josh and Dana was one of the best things I could have done for both dog and child. I can't wait to see you compete baby girl.

Praetorian Kennels WDA and PPD club is pleased to announce Lawana and Gibbs passed their CGC today. She came today to watch her friend in their test and decided to bring her dog. She asked me if her dog could pass I told her no. I explained to her many issues she was having was caused by her and her leash skills. She stated she was in desperate need for assistance in obedience. I talked to her for 20 mins and she practiced walking her dog correctly and not loading her dog. GIBBS RESPONED as if he was a totally different dog. He was tested and he passed with flying colors. She learned today that leash skills is huge. Not preloading your dog is extremely helpful. Today Lawana joined pk WDA and PPD club.

Praetorian Kennels WDA and PPD club is happy to share with you the vast improvement this GSD is doing. It came with a por obedience foundation, dog reactive, and was overly defensive. Today it obtained its CGC and we have targeted its prey drive to funnel a positive outlet. We will continue on to work for another title in obedience and bitework. Awesome job. This dog is no longer breaking down with shallow grips she is running through and crushing the grips.

Praetorian Kennels WDA club is also super proud to announce that Lesley and her GSD Charlotte completed there CGC today as well. Lesley came to me with a very dog reactive, defensive, and insecure dog. She lacked correct foundation on handling and technical application on obiediance. With some proper guidance, the dog has overcome many negative behaviors. Over a short period of time we have channled that negative behavior in to positive with proper techniques and releases. To say the least I can't wait to see what these two can do in the future together. I tell all my clients find what makes the dog click and use it. One training technique is not the cure all. All dogs are different and Lesley has done an amazing job. Congratulations.

Praetorian Kennels WDA club is super proud of Heather and what she has accomplished with her Belgium mal. Cooper. Heather came to me with her dog charging at people, no obiediance, Cooper had never had a leash on. Now this fine young man is walking tall and has been socialized and exposed environmentally. He just completed his CGC. I am excited to say the least on the possibility these two have. I can't wait to see what these two will accomplish.

It want be long before before we start evaluating the puppies via (ENS) Early Neurological stimulation. This is completed between the 3rd to 16th day. Then on to the other phases. I was out at the local Walmart today and a random guy says " hey aren't you the corso guy" I replied yes always willing to talk dogs with new people. The guy goes on to say why do you train them "I'm a man I can take care of myself and my family, but I like your dogs." I simply replied nicely stating are you with your wife and kids 24/7 can your children stand up to a drugged out, determined burglar. Can your wife fight off the average size man determined to cause I'll will to her or your kids. The dog is one step of many. If the dog fends off the bad guy or gives your family time to get out, call for help, obtain a firearm, or best of all simply the animal presence will be a deterrence and they move along. That's the main goal... it's not for me it's for my loved ones. It's for the safety and security of my children. Is it the only means no... will it provide time for my loved ones to get safe or make it safe yes.. don't be a sheep... alarms don't fight back....

Join us in welcoming Praetorian Kennels in South Carolina to WDA! Owner Matt Sewell has a special interest in the Italian Mastiff (which he breeds) but also works with a variety of dogs, from herding to bulldog breeds. Praetorian Kennels Gunner 4th time ever training. 1st time ever on a suit. The genetics are not lieing paired with the right training and trainers the sky is the limit. Now I know we have a long way to go but I'm very pleased. Huge thanks to everyone thats been involved.
