Come see us at Tractor Supply in Wadsworth today (Sat 8/24) till 2 pm.
We all know how painful a toothache can be, and you can’t wait to get into your dentist to have them make the pain go away! 🦷😖
Recently we took in a number of older cats whose owner had passed away, and a few of these cats could really need a dental. We have a few other newer intakes who also are in need of a dental surgery.
Our feline friends are not comfortable, and we want to send them in to get their dental procedures ASAP!
We really could use your help. We currently have around 6 cats in our care who need a dental, estimated at around $200-$400 per cat. That’s a total of $1,200 - $2,400!
Any amount makes a difference, and will allow us to continue our mission of helping cats in need.

Here’s an update on how things are going with our partner TNR group Wadsworth Alleycats. They’ve helped 76 cats since they started in May!!!…😱
“Good Afternoon!!
I just want to give you all a little BTS exclusive as to what it took to trap 10 cats last night in town.
This project started last Sunday when we got a call about kittens and a mom taking shelter under someone's car. They needed to be able to get in and out of the driveway to leave for work without fear of babies in the engine! So we went to assess (it was 1 of 3-4 locations we had to see that day) and this turned into a 5 hour night. We had to door-knock/canvas, meet the neighbors, meet feeders, scoped out favorite kiki hangouts and get everyone onboard. We discovered this colony is easily 25-30 cats.
On Friday, after work, we ran traps out to the site (zip tied) and worked with the primary feeder to get them on a schedule and to feed only from traps. On Sunday (yesterday) the neighbor did their homework, did not feed the cats and we trapped on and off from about 5-9pm (until we got rained out).
Keep in mind, this is all volunteer. It took 4 of us trapping, help from neighbors, 3 transporters this morning (in their own cars, with their own gas) and will still need picked up and released tomorrow. We are not paid. It takes many people, many hours, many missed meals, many distractions during our work days, many missed hours with family members. It's not just a labor of love. We care about our community, our city, and the health of the cats and community members. We have to continue getting people trained in this and grow the team or we will not be able to sustain what we've got going on here.
Please let us know if you have interest in learning/shadowing, can help transport or can donate funds. As once our city money runs out (at about 100 cats) we're strictly on donations.
Remember, we are the "T" and the "R" (along with a holding space, transportation, community outreach, supplies- food, p*e pads, traps, bowls, linens and cleaning supplies). The city pays for the "N." That's it. The rest is us. The rest is this community! Please help us continue what we've started. We're doing an amazing thing out here!
Also a HUGE thank you to Alleycats & Aristocats because we would not be up and running without them. And thank you to everyone who has donated time, money, supplies and/or knowledge 🩵”

Fudge Round is very playful and very social. He does well with kids and dogs and other cats and in busy and loud households, though he would also likely do well a calmer home. He likes to climb and play with his litter mates, and they all take turns sitting on top of the ball track toy. He gives kisses and is nicknamed him “fudgie”. He’s still a sensitive little guy. He loves his hammock. He’s just a sweet, sensitive guy.
Fudge Round is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. His DOB is 3/28/2024.
Here at Alleycats & Aristocats we only adopt kittens under 6 months old as pairs, or to an adopter who already has another cat or kitten in the home. Kittens learn from other cats & are less likely to develop behavioral issues when paired with another cat.

Adorable Sadie has been eagerly awaiting her forever home for quite a while now! We are not sure why, since she is playful, sweet, loves pets, and very food motivated!
Sadie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV, FeLV and heartworm. She is estimated to be 3 years old.

Our incredibly talented Medical Coordinator and Board member Chelsee also happens to be on the medical team at Mission Possible Animal Hospital LLC. Read what she has to say about poor Robert below.
We are so thankful to Brandy Randolph who got him and brought him to the right place to receive the care he needs.
And the team at Mission Possible is just beyond amazing! We are so thankful for all of them every single day!
It is just appalling to think that there are humans walking among us that could do something like this to a poor defenseless cat. 😔

“Please scroll if you are sensitive to graphic content.
Robert was trapped in Lorain and has suffered horrific abuse . What exactly happened to him we aren't fully sure. What we do know is that he came into the clinic with what looks like human inflicted chemical burns .
Robert's wounds were in necrosis, needed debridement, and a drain was placed by the wonderful Dr. Amanda Getto. He is getting daily wound care and will need his drain replaced as he heals.
We are happy he was at the right place at the right time, and we are grateful for the teamwork of everyone involved.
I am most grateful for him still loving humans so much after all he has been through.
🐾 Donations for Robert's care can be sent directly to Mission Possible Animal Hospital LLC / Alleycats & Aristocats.”

🐈⬛ It should come as no surprise that we at Alleycats and Aristocats have a soft spot for black cats. 🐈⬛
We recently received a plea for help for a cat in a colony that we’ve taken in many cats from over the years. To date, the people working on this colony have successfully Trap, Neutered, and Released or found rescue for almost 70 cats!
The very first cat to come from this colony in the summer of 2022 was a black cat named Theodore. Theodore was in rough shape, he (and much of the colony) was FIV+, had herpes causing the severe eye discharge, and a gash on his leg. With the dedication of our fosters and donors, Theodore recovered and was adopted. ❤️
Now it’s Albert’s turn. Albert is an 8 year old black cat from Theodore’s colony. He was originally Trap, Neutered, and Released in late 2022 after receiving a much needed dental. Unfortunately, he began showing a lot of the same symptoms as Theodore in late 2023 and was finally trapped this week. Albert does not feel well and really needs our help.
Albert has an appointment this coming Monday, and any amount donated helps us help Albert. Pictured is Albert when he was first trapped in 2022 and Albert this week.

On Monday 2/26 Raven will be visiting the Cardiologists at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Copley/Akron to evaluate her severe grade 5/6 heart murmur. You can help donate to Raven’s appointment funds here! www.alley-aristo.org/donate Raven was found back in August when she was just 2-3 weeks old. She has thrived in foster and is the sweetest most loving kitten. Her heart murmur was discovered when she went in to be spayed and because of its severity she was unable to undergo the surgery. After many months of waiting and observation her murmur has not shown any signs of improvement and now it is time for her to see a cardiologist and get a full work-up and get to the bottom of what is causing her heart condition. Help us help Raven! 🖤🐈⬛
