I have two unused tarantula enclosures: one terrestrial and one arboreal. Seeking adult Ts to use them for. Give me your suggestions on what to fill them with! 🤔🤔

I already have multiple curly hairs, a Mexican fireleg, an avic avic, c. Versicolor, A. purpurea, and several tiny slings of various species.

Another terrible loss. Beautiful mama Noelle is gone, and it's just too much sadness in such a short amount of time. Her first clutch with me is only i3/i4, and up until finding her this morning, she was sitting on more eggs that should be hatching any day now. I really just hate that they don't live long enough, and we never get enough time with them.

I'm now at a crossroads: Hridaya has not laid for me, and is slowing down. Jade, my bold mama was not successful in pairing, and I have no other bolds to pair her with, and mama Nova laid two clutches, and is now enjoying her life without babies.

This means I have NO GRAVID FEMALES. I really don't know if I should even pair any or if I should start to wrap this up and move back into this being a hobby.

Cheetos first clutch is one molt away from being adoptable. Her second clutch is only i3. I found her dead today. She was fine yesterday. This sucks. 😢🧡

Many say that males don't live as long as females. While it can be true, I've had several sweet boys make it longer then their female siblings. Each spider is different, please remember that some may live 6 months, while others surpass two years.

One of my holdbacks from Lucia's first clutch just laid an infertile egg sack (she was never paired, so i am 100% certain). Sweet girl is guarding them like a good girl though. 🥹🥹🥺

Update: she ate them last night.

The ghost mantis ( p paradoxa) have completed their second molts and are available for local pickup.

Finding a wild jumper in the middle of winter is pretty rare. Sweet tan girl was in my laundry room starving and dehydrated, so she is now enjoying her buffet of food and water, and then I'll let her go back to her little area.

The pure joy I feel is beyond words. I've needed to take a step back and away from the page, but this morning, my ghost mantis (p.paradoxa) have hatched and are enjoying their first meal. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 have a great weekend everyone!
