In loving memory...I was a Yorkshire Terrier whom was just over 5lbs of fierceness and lived in Ohio! I was a lover and tiny protector of all.

I sadly passed in November of '24 just shy of age 13. I'm dearly missed by my family.

SAD UPDATE: "This was a very hard thing to do today my little man but now you no longer suffer and can run free! Enjoy all the snacks, chase those birds, squirrels and snakes and meet new rainbow bridge furbabies! You will be greatly missed ❤️😭 RIP Officer Chewy"

Our Chewy recently was diagnosed with Lyme disease leading to Kidney disease. His blood work appeared to improve with the Kidney Care diet and medications after a week...but over the weekend he started to decline - not eating, losing weight and vomiting/diarrhea. After spending the evening in the ER, we learned that he developed pancreatitis and that all his blood work went up meaning his prognosis was bad. There was mention of staying a few nights in the ER but no guarantee of improvement. So, we took him home (after being given fluids, injections for pain and vomiting) to spend our last night with him in preparation for what may come. This morning we took him to our vet who also confirmed that the best thing for him was to go peacefully with us by his side. I will miss your cute snores, your stink breath and your excited little "ru ru's"...fly high my lil man! Almost 12 years of life with me was not long enough 😭❤️

Recently I went to the vet with my momma and tested positive for Lyme disease (past couple years were negative) even though we never found a tick on me! Welp, I now have kidney disease (most likely a result of it) which has been overwhelming for Mom! Although I'm elderly, I'm not acting sick which the vet said is a good sign so I'm now on a regimen of special food and meds! (second photo is me sleeping in my aunt's arms when she pet sat me!)

Lost my big sis, Darla, Friday afternoon...she was 12.5 years old...it's been rough for my momma Anna since she had her as a newborn pup. Please keep us all in your thoughts...❤️🙏🏼 I know she's no longer in pain and is now bouncing around with her other family (both human and animal) but it still sucks!

Got groomed last week! ❤️ I'm still around just been busy since mom got married! So now I officially have 2 moms!!! ❤️👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏼
