Tails is looking forward to meeting his new family.
He had a family back out on him the last 3 day's before the transport was scheduled.
We were so excited for him & we were devastating the family decided to back out . Tails has been waiting 30 day's his neutering was 10 day's ago and everything ready. Sadley with another let down he was once again not in a good spot .
Thankfully someone shared his post & they immediately fell for him & went through all the nessasary steps to get to be an approved adopter.. Tails now is gonna be on an even LONGER journey. In total 2634 miles
He will be heading to us here from Memphis Tennessee from here we will stay the night and head up to Connecticut where he will live out his forever loving life. For now he will be the only pet in the home. But the younge family are definitely wanting to get Tails a sibling after a bit. And Rescue Me Pawsome Style INC. Will proudly make that happen.

However we CANNOT do anything without your help & generosity. Expessally now please . We need fuel to get him there .

To the ones in the back of the room..

If you choose to rescue animals, I am going to give you some sound advice - Grow thick skin and don't care what people think of you. I have known people to lose the battle with their minds and we just lost a kind, caring individual in my rescue network. Compassion fatigue is real, but nothing is worth your life. No pet. No rescue. No person's opinion. Nothing.

In rescue, that person that tells you what an angel you are and how wonderful you are every time you pick up a stray pet thrown at their door will also be the first person who tells people how your organization is worthless when you don't have space to pick up the 30th pet thrown off on their property. It's ok.

In rescue, the adopter that leaves you the five star review about how wonderful everyone has been will change that review quick when they return the pet even though you have spent hours trying to keep it in their home. One star reviews are ok.

In rescue, your friend will be your friend until you deny their application for a pet because they are a great friend but a terrible pet owner. That's ok too.

In rescue, you will answer 100 calls in a day. But if you miss 6 calls in a row while you are in the shower, you will be the one who "never answers their phone". It's ok.

In rescue, other rescuers and random trolls will judge everything you do but never have time to pitch in a hand to help when they see something needing more attention. They will, however, have lots of time to talk about how they’d do it better while they harass and judge you. It will be ok.

In rescue, you will have to involve animal control and the police department sometimes. The people who you take pets from will hate you - and I mean REALLY hate you. Trust me, it's ok.

In rescue, pets will be put down and pets will die at the hands of abusers. We can't save them all - and that's ok. We save the ones that we can and pray for peace for the ones we can't.

I have dealt with every problem and every situation imaginable. I used to take some things to heart, then I realized - I am doing this for the animals, not for any person in this world. I have found my joy and no person will take that. If you are in rescue, don't let anyone or anything take your joy. Find peace that you will never please everyone. Find peace that you will never save them all. Never allow something you love to turn into something that ends your life.

Be kind or get out of the way.

Heartbreaking 💔 Rainbow Bridge in North Carolina was washed away .
The Rainbow Bridge is located at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in North Carolina. Specifically, it's part of the Flowering Bridge garden that spans the Rocky Broad River, connecting Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

The Rainbow Bridge is a special section within the garden where visitors can leave collars, tags, and other mementos to honor and remember their beloved pets who have passed away.

Look at Anna!!!
Fka Pye from Memphis
She was found "running at large" 🙄
According to her paperwork from a high kill shelter.
She's so incredibly sweet and needs alot of TLC she has been neglected starved and tossed away to fend on her own at only 8 weeks old. She weighed 2.4 pds when she was in the shelter.
Thank God for Laurie Ward who quickly made it to the shelter and getting her promptly to the vet after we pulled her ( Rescue Me Pawsome Style INC. ) She's wonderful.
And took care of her until I coukd make it to Memphis to retrieve her. She's now 5.3 lbs Her belly is looking better..
I am so happy to get her on her way to hopefully her forever home . But she will need to be fostered 1st..
Please if you can foster this cutie until adopted it would be great. (OHIO)

We will be making our way back to Ohio.
But we can't continue to do anything without your help.
WHILE WE WERE HERE..
We were able to help 3 others get off the euthanization list and into homes as well .
Please continue to help us help them.
We could certainly use some help please!
