Kitty Catfé and A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue have been working together to save as many cats in need as we can. Kitty Catfé has been pulling cats from ARAR to make room there and with so many cats in need, it’s impossible to keep up. The cat cafe is so limited on space to quarantine rescues, that I decided to start a rescue, too: Meow and Furever Cat Rescue, to continue helping with the overflow at ARAR and helping the many people that reach out to me daily to take in cats. I’m so lucky that ARAR has been taking in these cats that I get calls on for the past few months. This rescue partnership should help us to both save more cats and assist them in finding their furever homes.

More details will be available later in the week regarding location, help needed, fundraising events, etc.

Toby was the first client of my cat training career. He was used during my volunteer work internship to become a certified cat trainer through Animal Behavior College. Toby learned to sit, lay down, stand up, walk on a treadmill, harness/ leash walk, jump through a hula hoop and mastered crate training! Such a smart boy ❤️

Two 15-minute play sessions a day helps to keep your cat active and it helps them release built up energy. It gives you and your cat time to bond. Wand toys are a great way to get them up and moving around the house. Some adult cats need more encouragement with toys. I like to reward my cats with a small amount of canned food or treats after each session.

It’s Senior Spotlight this week and weekend at the Catfé.

Come in and meet our loving seniors. Who knows? You may just take one home with you. They’re absolutely wonderful.

Boss loves to play and snuggle in a comfy spot. He also loves pets and will roll over and let you rub his belly and purr once he knows you can pet him the right way.

Ella, what can I say about her other than she is perfect. She’s a lap cat. Purrs. Stares at you so lovingly and will not move until you move her from your lap. She is front declawed. If you want a lap cat, she’s your girl.

The Siamese gals will be here this weekend. They are a bonded pair. Their owner is no longer with us, so they are in need of their forever, loving home soon.

Clark, well he is headed to his forever home, but isn’t he a stunner? ❤️

Do you remember our friend Mr. M from the Humane Society of Macomb? He has been adopted!! Our trainer worked with him on behavioral issues, medication adjustments, learning to sit and his ups. We are so happy to have received such wonderful news!
