My family and I relocated to Dardanelle in September of last year. For the previous 10 years I have been training bird dogs and duck dogs, while also offering obedience training through private sessions and group classes. I am also an AKC approved CGC evaluator. I was curious if the services I offer could be of use in the Russellville/Dardanelle area?

It’s been 4 years since I ran a NSTRA field trial, this past weekend we entered a German Shorthair owned by Tri Mountain Kennels. The dog has never ran at any competition in any venue. His first run he had a find and a retrieve, we could not ask for a better performance from him, we were happy that he was on the board! As the day went on the temperature kept rising and our second run was a tuff brace with a lot of heat and no birds found. We went back Sunday hoping for another run like Saturday morning. Boy did we get one! In the 2nd brace “Baylor” had a 4 bird run that set the pace for the day. This run put him in 1st place in the amateur and 2nd place in the open, by the end of the day his 1st place in the amateur held, but he dropped to 5th in the open. What a great performance for him at his first trial! Proud would be an understatement!!

I absolutely love getting updates from folks who have gotten puppies from me. I got this update last night on “Hank”. He is a pup out of the last litter of Brittanys (R***r x Dixie) that I produced. Way to go “Hank” keep up the good work!
