Just got photos from one of my favorite adoptive families, the Holloways. Andre Holloway André Hollow II (3 horses so far). I'm heading to their neighborhood for halloween next year. Looks like a blast and Senior cooks up a mean BBQ!

This morning, the farm is alive with soft nickers, full hay feeders and the sound of peace — all because of you.

In just a few days, our rescue family came together in the most extraordinary way. Hay, grain, supplements, cash donations, new hay feeders, transfer offers, and foster homes — you filled every gap that had us so worried only days ago.

Because of your kindness, every horse here ate their fill with comfort last night. The relief is beyond words.

We still have a long road ahead — large vet and hay bills remain, and winter is only beginning to whisper at our door — but for the first time in weeks, I can breathe knowing we are not alone. Your support has given us hope, strength, and a reminder that compassion still runs strong in this world.

🐴💔 Emergency Help Needed at Two Wild Hearts Sanctuary & Rescue 💔🐴

Friends, we’ve hit a hard wall. Donations have stopped coming in, and we’ve used every bit of our own funds to keep our thirty horses fed and cared for — but as of today, the hay and grain bins are empty. We owe over $2,000 each in hay and veterinary bills, and winter isn’t far off.

Several of our seniors are struggling after last winter, and every one of them depends on us for safety, warmth, and love. We are two people doing everything — feeding, cleaning, vet care, fundraising — but we can’t do it alone anymore.

If you can give, please do. Every single dollar goes directly toward hay, grain, and urgent vet care. If you can’t donate, please share this post — your share could bring us the help we need to make it through the next few weeks.

We’ve rescued, healed, and loved so many souls here. Now I’m asking for help to keep that promise going. ❤️

This morning we buried old Chevie Bomber, one of our longest residents. We knew he was on borrowed time and we knew we were not going to put him through another rough winter. But we wanted to give him one last summer to be loved by his best friend, and sponsor, Jennifer. He chose is own time early this morning and is now at peace. Sleep well Chevie! ❤️❤️

New intakes! All standies, all boys under 20 - from four to 18. Two are claimed already :) Info coming for the remaining three will be on the website by Monday. We have been struggling personally, as you all know and funds aren't coming in. One of the boys is extremely sick and needs vet care. (See video in comments but diagnostics are not needed. We've got this.). I must add, a huge thanks to Anne, Dawn and Brenda for tackling intake where I couldn't. You guys are the best!

I wish we had more to share. Being one handed has put a damper on photos. Just know we are still here and still working hard at saving lives.
