Hi little nuggets, we can’t wait to meet you!
How neat is it to see these littles? We like to do “headcount” radiographs at the end of the pregnancy to have an idea how many babies are in there. This guides us in knowing how long in between pups is normal and when to expect a pause (although each mom is different), it allows us to know if we need to worry about a remaining puppy as sometimes they do not come out and can cause issues for the mom. We are lucky to have a vet who makes sure everything is clean and disinfected before bringing our girls in!

And the last announcement for a bit is Peachy girls final litter. Really excited to see this cross even though I was such a fan of her pups with Loomis I think Viggo will compliment her well!

Everyone here knows I’m not a chocolate person, but my goodness how perfect is this beautifully bred girl. We are so excited for the opportunity to add her to our program and grateful to her breeder for entrusting us with this beautiful girl. Neve is no longer the only chocolate dog although with this mud all of them are currently chocolate!

The Matriarch turned 10 on Christmas Day. SkylineHills Dashing Thru the Snow “Dash” aka the resident babysitter of kids both human and non, the couch potato/ throw pillow, the worlds most wonderful soul and also the laziest living creature I’ve ever met 😂🤣
Almost everything I have is because of Dash and she is the one who helped me achieve so many goals as a breeder. She is everything a Labrador should be, I can never repay her for all that she has done for me as a breeder, as a friend, and as a loyal companion. Dash gave me my sweet Ruthie, Summit, and Loomis and a whole plethora of grand babies whom I adore.
It pains me to see her age (although she has been an old soul her whole life) but it gives me such great joy to see her shine through in many generations. She is a once in a lifetime dog and I’m so grateful that she chose me when she was just a baby. Our bond was immediate, I wouldn’t trade her for the world. Happy Birthday Dashie Poo, we adore you ya stinky old lady

One of my favorite things around Christmas is getting pictures and cards of my pups in their new families ❤️🌲 I have been so blessed with wonderful families who take such sweet pictures of my kiddos and send them along. Thank you to those who send care packages and goodies to the dogs for Christmas and for the sweet gifts that you send me as well, it is certainly not necessary but is very kind of you ❤️ Happy Holidays from the Ford pack
