What we know about this respiratory disease: It MIMICS kennel cough. Doesn’t seem to respond to antibiotics, or cough suppressants and sometimes progressives to pneumonia. There have been deaths, unfortunately.
What to do: got to a vet if your dog has a cough. AVOID areas with high exposure to dogs, especially in an outbreak area. (Washington state is an outbreak state)
Clean your pets food and water bowls DAILY.
Symptoms signs include: cough, sneezing, runny nose and eyes.
