We need fosters. We are a no kill shelter but if we don't adopt and have fosters other pets cannot come in. That is usually a death sentence to those animals waiting for a spot in our shelter because the owner will dump them or have them put down.

We desperately need a foster for her. Not only was a pin put in her front leg but she has a torn ACL but can’t have surgery on it till front leg can bear weight. She will need to be only dog to keep her calm and will have to be carried to go potty several times a day. She is a sweet and loving girl. Please can someone help her and be a foster. Urgent please help us find a foster for this guy. He is only 9 months old. Found as a stray in Montrose. Finder is letting him stay but finders dogs and him have been up to mischief by chasing neighbors livestock so now he can no longer stay. Please call 660-885-7999 or email us at [email protected]. Desperately seeking a Foster for sweet Tess. She ended up with an internal infection after her spay. She needs a calm place to recuperate. She will spend most of her time in the kennel and will need to be leash walked for at least a week. Also, you will be provided everything you need for her. It’s been a very rough few days for the Clinton Animal Shelter. So many abandoned pets. We really need a Foster that has no pets for this special girl. She is getting spayed on 6/30 and she needs to be watched for about a week. We just had two that were spayed and stitches got ripped open. One is currently in the hospital and we found a foster for the other one. Please can someone just help for one week. Everything will be supplied for you. She will be crated for most of the time other than potty breaks and eating. We just want her to heal good and the hopefully we will find you a fabulous home. Thank you very much to the foster families that stepped up to help us make space this weekend when we had several homeless dogs come in. We could not have helped them without you. We are still full and could use a few more fosters. People communicate with the shelter before abandoning your pets! We are now so far past capacity we don't know what to do. Our playyard is now going to become a kennel. Today we have taken in 5 dogs and have up to 7 more to come in. We cannot keep up. If you communicate with us ahead of time we can try make arrangements, post on some rescue sites, provide food if you need it.

Urgent we need fosters. The Shelter has had one of their worst days ever. Several were found in abandoned houses,puppies just left in the play yard and some found in a rental just upped and moved away and left them. Please help us if it’s only for a short while.
