Peaches and Peanut| | 6 year-old female and 8 year-old male

Peaches and Peanut are a sweet bonded couple. They have been together since Peaches joined Peanut in their former home and they have had puppies together. Those days are over and they are looking for a place where they can grow old together.

COMPATIBILITY:
They obviously love each other with Peaches being the boss and they have been happily cohabitating with the small and bigger dogs in their foster home. They have not been cat tested. We believe they would do fine with older respectful children and they are very friendly towards everyone they meet.

ACTIVITY LEVEL:
They are happiest hanging out and exploring in the yard, though with the days cooling down, they like to locate a nice sun puddle to fritter away the days. They enjoy their daily walks and are happy to check in with the neighbors while out and about. Peaches likes her treats, so a light hand will be needed as she sheds a pound or two. They have no trouble navigating short flights of stairs and while crate trained, they have not been using the crate in their foster home. Peaches will inform you of any activity in the neighborhood with a few barks.

HEALTH: Peaches has an umbilical hernia which does not require surgical intervention, however continuing to get her to a healthy weight will ensure she has no future problems.
Peanut had a dental while in our care as well as a mole removal which did not look suspicious. He is currently completing a course of doxycycline for anaplasmosis.

PERSONALITIES:
This pair of beautiful pugs have such lovely personalities. Peache is a very loving girl who gets so excited every time she sees you and loves to give kisses. She is the leader, and Peanut happily complies with whatever she wants. He is not reliant on her however and is capable of spending time on his own. We can't emphasize how perfectly joyful these 2 are. They will be a welcomed addition to any loving family.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
Both of these pugs are smart, house trained, happy and content to spend their days together enjoying the company of their people. They really don't need to change one bit. Have a look at their bios on our website if you are interested in adopting them.

✨ Country Dogs Enrichment Fun — Thanksgiving Edition! 🍂🐾🧡

Today was all about sniffing, exploring, jumping, balancing, and leaf-diving — and Cassidy, Finley, and Smokey absolutely crushed their enrichment day!

From leaf piles to noodle obstacles to treat puzzles, these three were fully in their fall vibes 🍁😄 And honestly… watching them problem-solve and play might be the cutest thing we’ve seen all week!

We’re extra thankful for smart, silly, happy pups who make every day at Country Dogs feel like a celebration. 🐶🧡

Eat, drink, and give thanks — the dogs sure did!
