Our Story
Shoreline Animal Hospital has been a part of the Clinton community since the mid 1980’s. Dr. Berman and Dr. West purchased the veterinary practice in 2006 as the third owners. Neither had envisioned being a business owner, but circumstances and a bit of luck combined at the right time for them to take a leap of faith and venture out on their own. Having worked together in Essex for several years and becoming close friends, they recognized that they shared a vision of compassionate, individualized veterinary care and set a goal to make that vision a reality. Their hope was to create a family centered practice where they could focus on getting to know their patients and clients, develop lifelong relationships, and provide options that worked for all.
Our mission at Shoreline Animal Hospital is to create a lifelong partnership with each client and their four-legged friend that will allow us to provide exceptional individualized medical care to meet each of their unique needs in a compassionate, respectful, and thorough manner. Through a team approach that includes the client, veterinarians, and our highly educated and well-trained healthcare team, we will strive to exceed your expectations in everything we do to ultimately promote and prolong the bond you cherish with your pet.
